The over 205 looks interesting. Washington is capable of shooting some (Beal, Webster) 3's and Portland will look to start a new streak of by winning some games after their last losses. Washington played well in their last two games Portland; so I see the Wizards competing here tonight.

Some factors concerns me a little; Washington can get holds on D by stopping their opponents to reach the 100 point mark. Their defensive play comes out in some games (see OKC and GS game). I keep that in mind know that they than pull it out on D.
They (WSH) talk often about getting over .500; maybe it's more psychological.

Agree on Portland -1,5. Washington lost five in a row versus West opponents before Saturday's win over OKC. Although Portland lost three in a row on the road, they get a good matchup versus Washington. But I am a bit surprised that they are only favored by -1,5.

I will wait a few hours before tip-off and check the news ticker for the latest on injuries and player status. Should nothing unforseeable happen I favor POR -1,5

Hey Westside this game is a great example of what to look for in the nba. You have most of the public betting on Portland so Washington should get more points but the line went the other way and it went bigtime. It moved 5.5 points the wrong way so this means take Washington. Look for reverse line movements like this. This means the professional bettors are pounding Washington and you want to ride their coat tails. Remember the nfl is the only sport that gets enough public action for the books to move the line due to public money so when you see a nba move period it is probably sharp money. The only exception is maybe the finals.   Also if you see a fishy line go against your gut and take the other side. Furthermore if you bet against the public in general you will do well (60% or more).  Bet against teams that had a big win at home and then hit the road as they might be due for a let down. Joe hawk is right look for trends and bet against teams that are at the end of a long road trip. Good Luck!
