I'll tell you what- SD's gonna come out and play. This is exactly the type of game SD wins. An important game in December and yet nobody's looking. As it's a big game- River's is gonna be pumped and yet unlike last weeks prime-time game against NE- not a lot of pressure. It's got that weird kooky balance of enough umph for our excitable QB to play a his peak yet relaxed enough for our coaching staff to engineer the right plays. Last week McCoy had the grace of an over caffeinated high school coach intimidated by a winning organization into play calling a conservative and uninspired performance. 4 minutes or so left in the game, 4th and 2, down by 9 and at the 50 yard line and we punt to Brady!?! Are you freaking kidding me! What do you think that did for Rivers and his mojo late in the game, McCoy with his cajones firmly clamped in his puckered but cheeks. Now if we had a little swagger and the play calls to match, we'll have those cajones swinging free- all the way down the sideline- into the locker room- into the shower- wash those nasty balls Mike, but at least you found them!
