The spread was SD -9.5 pts before the lock out ended and my book took all the games off the board. That was also before Minnesota acquired McNabb in a trade with Washington.

Hard to imagine how he will do in purple but I'm 100% positive that he will do way better than he did in his one season in Washington.

At least he has a running game now with Peterson. The Vikes are short on recievers at the time of this post so I imagine McNabb will lean heavy on Peterson and his tight ends also. Donovan is going to have to run the offense smoothly and stay as mistake free as possible. He can still pick up some 1st downs with his legs so that will help when needed but he better not do it often.

McNabb played in a dome in college so he should have some fair success in Minny.

Back to this game... The Vikes are going to have to try ball control to slow down any potential San Diego aerial explosions. I expect the Chargers to try and hit some home runs early and often vs a suspect Vikings secondary. I don't see the Vikes being able to run and gun with SD but the lock-out just might provide enough rust on SD to make a win possible if the Vikes can play mistake free football.

My guesstimate is San Diego-27 Minnesota-20

Once again, just like with Favre, the Vikings bring in a high profile primadonna as a PR move to get the fans all excited about their "playoff bound" team. If McNabb's the guy, then why waste your first pick on Christian Ponder? Don't you need someone for McNabb to throw to? You already have a better backup in Joe Webb? Why???? Because by game 4 or 5 when the Vikings are 1-4 or McNabb gets hurt behind that pathetic makeshift O-Line, they'll call it a "rebuilding year" and bring him in.

I knew that the Vikings were done when they traded arguably their best receiver in Sidney Rice 

Hopefully all you fantasy guys have "All Day" on your roster - he should see plenty of action this year.
