Inept" ??? Coughlin's deservedly respected by his peers / NFL as a good coach.Case Closed.Truth of the matter, throughout his posts, Quad's attempt via feeble comical sarcasism reminds of grade school reasoning.
" NY crybabies " " Elizabeth Hasselback " ? List goes on
Win or lose this one, Mara family is likely to allow Coughlin to finish out last year of his contract. Like Rooney family,Maras are
a class organization , a notch above Jerry Jones traveling Circus that goes through coaches as he does underwear.
( Switzer,J. Johnson to name your few)
However If Bill Cowher remains available, doubt Coughlin will be granted an extension in 2011.
Here's some food ,facts for thought Quad...
Eli's 24 ints+Injury riddled receiver corps and players deficiency such as Matt Dodge's rookie mistake, inexplicably failing to punt out of bounds per Coughlin's instruction in Giants-Eagle's debacle.
As far as Skins game is concerned, fearing the worst for Giants who appear flat while suffering key injuries at the finish line with Nicks,O'Hara,Tollefson out and Webster listed as questionable.
Shanahan does have his team pumped and Grossman who is playing for 2011 starters role is certain to target Gmen's weak secondary.IMO this game should be at pickem.Love the points ,believing Skins can take this one outright.
" Bashing other Cappers " ? Vue,you big belly attention seeker. lol
Sorry you appear sore from last year's post ,calling out that occasional pompous ineptitude of yours.Good to see humility appears to have kicked in, minimizing your postings to "Large and Very Large" .lol
Cash success and Cheers to you.
I love that this has turned into a gentlemen's argument of words, and not just an obscene four letter word laden tirade. However my witty sarcasm will remain a fixture in these threads for everyone's enjoyment for years to come. I think it's a lot more colorful and entertaining than the people who always post something like this:
Giants -4
I mean, why bother, right?
Anyways, I think we both agree that if Coughlin misses the playoffs this year, then goes like 5-11 or something next year, with his contract expiring, he's gone.
Also, easy, I'm confused on one more point - you make a strong case for your beloved Giants, with information and stats to back it up - and then you take the Redskins? I don't get it? Oh well, there must be a method to your madness I guess.....
Have a Happy New Year - and good luck with your picks.......
Oh, and one more thing - look at the Lar1212 post above mine - see, I'm not the only one who calls them the Crybabies!!!!
