Currently there are questions regarding the status of the Niners Gore and Crabtree. Combine that with the problems caused by the lock-out and the Niners new head coach is pressed for time to get his new team ready for this 2011 home/season opener. At the start of last season, the Niners got embarrassed at Seattle which started the clock on coach Singeltary's final season in SF.

One thing SF has going for it is that they are home in this one. The Seahawks are sporting a new QB-WR combo from Minnesota... No, not Favre... rather T.Jackson and Sidney Rice. This combo is the Hawks best chance for an aerial attack which is thier best chance at beating the Niners. SF can stuff the run well enough.

The Niners biggest problem will be avoiding mistakes so I expect alot of rush attempts from them. The team able to field the best defense should come out on top. I feel that will be SF in this one and don't forget... being in SF is a hugh plus for the new SF head coach.
