COVERS GOLF CONTEST FINAL STANDINGS!!

Wow!  What a finish!  By far our closest playoffs ever...and it came down to the tiebreaker.  I actually had to go back in time to figure out what the hell the first tiebreaker was!

First of all...congrats to wogdog, CMJohnson1, and sairjordan23 with the winning Dustin Johnson pick. Congrats to AJLightning on the 3rd round bonus pick as well...ended up being the difference!!

wogdog and sairjordan had DJ as the double points pick worth a -52  including the winning -10 bonus.

The second tiebreaker would have been winning picks in the regular season...which AJ won 1-0 over madshooter as well.

There's a lot of good guys in the gambling world.  Some of those guys are in this forum.  And CMJ and AJ are 2 of the best.  Aj has been a class act ever since I came into this forum, and I don't even know the guy but I love that he won.  MadShooter, you already know I love you, and it sucks you lost in this fashion.  The guys on leaderboard are dudes I have the utmost respect for and as much as I want to win this damn contest...it's my pleasure to just be a part of this contest with all of you guys.

Everyone that participated this year...keep doing it.  If you're lurking, just jump in and be a part of it.  CMJ is the best in the business at running a golf league, and I'm so freakin jealous of the winning package AJ will receive.

Wow, what a finish! Thought I had no chance with DJ winning and Webb not having his best showing. Thank you JT!! Thanks for the support and kind words from most of you! To the doubters, or should I say doubter,    I'm available for one on one handicapping lessons if you're interested! Proof is in the pudding with three contest Championships and three regular season titles!

I'm confused,  I  have myself finishing at -74 and AJ finishing at -65 ????

You posted  in our weekly pick thread that the bonus score they started the week with didn't count towards there score???

Just asking you to recheck as I believe from what you posted that would make me the winner....

Something is off here.

CMJ you said only the first pick is double points right, and the second pick not double points, and then a -5 bonus for the third round.

In lieu of this it would be

MadShooter -5 on the week for a -74 total

AJ -30 on the week for a -65 total

I think you counted with some odd multiplier. Even if both picks were double points MadShooter still wins. You may have counted with the bonus points they started the week with accidentally.

Anyone know what the penalty in golf is for signing the wrong scorecard?

CMJ...I do think a re-check and explanation is appropriate here. Pretty sure I was out of it with DJ winnng. Surprised to see I won but I wasn't going to doubt you and count strokes either.

As I say every year, I appreciate the double checking and holding the commish to a higher standard!!  madshooter is absolutely correct!!  Everyone started at EVEN par for the week, not the adjusted bonus score.  Dustin Johnson finished at a -10, not a -20 and so on and so forth.
