Did I hear 36 hole event if no resumption

Question

Watching golf channel and think I heard that if they don't resume then Stuard will be winner asfter 36 best score

Does that mean that all the round 3 scores won't count (even the guys who started round 3) and all tourney bets will be rated at the 36 hole score?

I have horschel v Hoffman tourney bet
After 36 holes horschel was -5 and Hoffman was -4. But Hoffman went off in round 3 (-6 through 14 holes) to get to -10
Hoping to get lucky
Anyone know?

My guess, is the round would have to be completed for any wager to count. So I'd assume it's likely a cancellation and refund on any 3rd round matchups. Probably same for tourney wagers, unless your book has a stipulation that 36 holes qualifies as official. You'd have to do your research though.

My guess is they don't get this thing in judging from all the weather predictions I've seen. Thunderstorms and heavy rain all throughout Monday as well. They can't force these guys into a Tuesday finish with Pro-Ams etc for next tourny...

They have only 5.5hrs of daylight remaining, and need 3.5hrs to finish the 3rd round.

This is such a farce. Hey PGA, how about you don&#x27;t hold tournaments in a location that is known for its terrible weather. Bad weather disrupts play every year at the Zurich Classic.

6 of the last 7 rounds have had rain delays.

It's now 4pm in LA, every radar Ive seen doesn't have the rain dying down till sometime between 6-7pm LA time. And that's only going from 100% chance of rain to 50-75% The course guy said they'd need it to stop raining and then 60-90mins to get the course ready.

So unless the rain stops in next 2hrs, they wont be playing any holes today. And the only window tomorrow is a mere 2-3hr window in the morning from the sounds of it. Their goal of 54 holes just simply isn't going to work this time around I don't think.

Officially a 54-hole tournament now, and that&#x27;s assuming they get a 3-4hr window at some point tomorrow to actually finish.  Good luck!!

When they interviewed the rules official earlier in the afternoon he even acknowledged that there&#x27;s only a potentially small window early in the morning to play.  And that&#x27;s a BIG IF as Thunderstorms are supposed to be in the area.  Any slight change for the worse and they cut this off at 36 holes.  So keep your fingers crossed for the rain to continue.

3-3.5 hr window gonna kill ya.  Everyone is playing quickly to try and fit this in.  Hoffman still rolling.
