I like DJ to win the tourney...or be RIGHT THERE on Sunday...so DJ over Spieth is easy, cuz Spieth won't be in contention IMO
jw11
THAT is what I looked at in my "group" bet with Dustin +220 vs Rory, Spieth and Day. do NOT think the last two a threat SO bopped Dustin for a buck to return $320 BUT also took Rory's match play vs him +125 for $40 to return $90 as a "half azzed hedge"

I would give Rory a better shot than Dustin this week. That week in 2011 just proves Rory's game is better suited for Augusta than Dustin's
AJ, I understand people may have better suited games for the Masters and I understand it's sports, let alone golf, anything is possible.
However, my reasoning is just watching this guy Dustin Johnson play the last few tournaments I haven't seen anyone remotely close to playing at his level. I can't find a flaw in his game.
Sure any week he could lose it.. but until he does I'm riding him.
Best of luck to you.

I'm with you i think he shrinks Augusta this week par 5's like playing par 3's bet365 has him at +550 to win outright. Can't think of anybody whose game is in good enough shape to beat him.

I completely agree, don't get me wrong. He's on a diferent level at the moment. It's just something this week is telling me it's not his time. There is a flaw in his game and it's between the ears. He hasn't had this much pressure to win a tournament like this...EVER! All eyes on Dustin this week and that may be his down fall! With the current state of his game and his showings the last few years at Augusta, it just all looks to easy for him to win.
Seriously, I cut for the guy. He's a beast on the golf course and I like him as a person. It takes a lot to come back from his demons and do what he's doing. That's why I like him and relate to him (personally) so much.
Just not this week....but I truly hope he proves me wrong!!

First day for sure totally agree but if Dustin hits it 320 may only be 290 but those that drive it 280-290 back to 250 if thats the case but they all have to play in the same conditions just think through Sunday DJ shortens the course up.

Winning four PGA TOUR events in a row is a pretty tough feat. Not since Tiger Woods won five in a row in 2007-2008 has a player had such a significant run. In his 26 rounds at Augusta National Johnson has just four rounds in the 60s and his scoring average of 72.08 remains over par.

little tid bit I found:
