I like the field -120 as a rare &#x2B;EV gambling opportunity vs. J. Thomas.&#xA;Reversing the odds on Thomas to beat both Rooyen and Reed in a hypothetical parlay would yield a theoretical &#x2B;150 on the downside to &#x2B;170 on the upside depending on your opinion on the implied head to head matchups.....throw in the added EV that any of the group of two at -10 or three at -11 goes nuts on Sunday and you have a very nice plus EV situation with the FIELD BET. &#xA;If a person could make bets like this all day every day, there would be a legitimate chance to beat sports-betting. &#xA;At -120 a gambler is getting way the better of it in regards to price and expected value.

For anyone following, we are now a couple of holes into the day and the field is now -300.

Gambling is about value. -120 on the field had the most value as any wager I have seen in years. It still might lose though.

I suppose it would have been relevant to note that Thomas remained up by 1 over two golfers...just as he started the day.
