The odds you have for your player are divided by the number of people tied for 1st round leader.

If you have someone at 500/1 with 2 people tied for 1st your odds would be 250/1, tied with 5 people your odds would be 100/1, etc

I have never even come across this but I have read random stuff online some places might try to void/deem no action it if ties. I have NEVER EVER seen this while wagering 1st round. Just giving a heads up if you are going to do these wagers read about it first or inquire with wherever you are wagering so you have all the information ahead of time.

 Bookmaker used to go by the player with most birdies but no longer offers first round wagers. Use Bovata.

If its 2 way tie

I have 500 to win 21,400

I lose half my bet -250$

And win the other half 250 to win 10,700

If it would have been 10 way tie

I would lose -450$

And 1/10th of the bet 2140
