had that happen to me as well, with Bubba of all people. Of course the same week I picked him in the contest. I think he won his next start.

Better to get the WD out of the way early. Sometimes these guys get hurt, or blow up in the last round and WD. Watney did that several weeks ago that f*cked lots of people in the contest. At least when they WD early, you don't get that hope that they will do well only to have it stripped away on the final day. Plus you can use it as an excuse to drink and be pissed off all weekend. I do it all the time.

WIFE: "What's wrong sweetie? You've been out of sorts all weekend..."

HUSBAND: "I've got a lot on my mind. The mortgage, the possible promotion, the kids college fund...plus Garrigus withdrew in the first round, and my other pick is Rickie Fowler who hasn't shot under par in the final round since the Truman administration. It's been a terrible week."
