Rd1 Frittelli awful at +4 hitting just 28% GIR and it could've been worse as he was +2.2 strokes gained putting
Connors was just ok at +1 but his stats show he played much better

I do understand that Matsuyama has great prior history here but he just is not playing well right now
Yesterday Matsuyama hung in there with great putting at +2.7. That won't happen again as he is a lousy putter. Seems like he tried to play it safe off the tee as driving distance only 256 yards and yet he only hit 50% fairways and 55.56% greens
Hovland let it fly hitting the ball driving it 330 yards and hit a bit less fairways at 42.86% but he was 74 yards closer which enabled him to hit 61.11% greens. He putted ok at +.3

Given recent form and unusually good putting by Matsuyama in Rd1 I will take Hovland rd2

What about Sam Burns vs Scottie Scheffler?

Burns is +113 for round 2 and is leader after the 1st round 

like both.. I missed a 9 match parlay by one stroke yesterday, not happy..

If your book has 3ball matches (pick one guy out of 3), great way to bet.. Even if there is a tie (two players with same score), counts as a win. Went 8/9 on a five dollar bet, would have paid 5k.

Missed by one lousy stroke..

brutal loss on Connors who led by 1 heading to 18.  Couldn’t make putts missing many 5-8’ range. -1.5 putting rd2.  Frittelli wasn’t good hitting just 44% greens but made putts (+.7)

Hovland crushed Matsuyama.  Should’ve bet them evenly but had more on Connors.  In retrospect dumb.  Connors can’t be trusted.  Frittelli wasn’t much but won on the putting

jeepguy good call on Burns plus money.  I played Burns Rd1 +125 v Scheffler and almost played him rd2 but didn’t as hate playing the leader who often comes back to the pack
