Golf handicapping

What does anyone/everyone view as the 2 - 3 most important factors to look at when handicapping golf?  Driving Accuracy Percentage?  Greens in Regulation?  Putting Average?  Scrambling?  Scoring?  Something else?

I look at current form, then past performance at this course, then past performance at similar courses.  Trying to make sense of all those stats will drive you nuts.  But if there&#x27;s a couple stats you want to look at I would look at the stats around the green.  Scrambling, and strokes gained putting for example.  Just my opinion though

In my OPINION...Handicapping golf is virtually impossible.

It is a game with only one player...You are competing with your inner self.

In other sports if you are having a bad day your other teammates can bail you out..NOT in golf.

The odds to win any tourney for the top players are low = no value. The field generally has 150 players that can get hot at any time and win.at longer odds...but who?....Tough to make money betting any sport...Golf included.

TRUE STATEMENT. you do NOT know what these pampered poodles are gonna do from one tourney to the next, in the next round OR even the next HOLE. the buggers can be cruising along and suddenly BLOW UP just like Jason Day round one @ Augusta on #16

IMHO. of course.&#xD;&#xA;Since I enjoy gambling on golf it makes it very challenging to make money at it....&#xD;&#xA;Like the old football adage "on any given Sunday"&#xD;&#xA;Golf betting action adage should be the same as well...."on any given Sunday"&#xD;&#xA;Anybody can win it....Just look at last week ...that 38 year old guy( I forget his name) wins the Shell tournament ( his first win) ....This week a 58 year old guy ( Langer) is in second place at the Masters after three rounds.........Handicapping golf is blatantly overrated I think.. .If ya&#x27; wanna bet on golf and win....YA&#x27; just gotta gets lucky...dat&#x27;s all..
