Hedging Options

I&#x27;m sitting on a Kuchar 30-1 ticket for 1 unit right now, and wanted to see if anyone had hedging suggestions. Simpson at 25-1 was my other pre-tourney wager, and barely missed getting them both into the final four for some serious hedging possibilities.I was thinking about putting 2 units on Day to win the tournament at &#x2B;300, that way I can hedge a little on the championship match should Day beat Kuchar in the AM match.  If Kuchar beats day, I&#x27;m considering putting 10 units on whoever he faces for the championship.Best case scenario, Kuchar wins and I&#x27;ve only hedged off ~12 units, while pocketing 18.  If Day wins, I should net a unit or two either way. And if Kuchar loses in the finals, I&#x27;d net around 9 units or so.Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

Hard to say, Day was &#x2B;127 at Dimes reduced but dropping. Kuchar has been playing well, something tells me Day adds some putts to his tee to green play and knocks Matt out. Day has his game face on, I see a Day, Poulter Final.

I think we&#x27;ve seen the bulldogs have prevailed. Day seems to be a bulldog this week and has been tested late in matches. Kuchar has played very well but had alot handed to him with his choir boy attitude and is yet to see 17.

I&#x27;m with you jfio... but I have Mahan and Poulter for $60 each to win $1500 and $1100 respectively... but have 4 $60 losers as well... I have decided to wait until the final... i can guarantee no losses buy hedging my initial $360 cost... and win if Mahan or Poulter win the final... hedging needs a lot of initial laydown and bankroll.... I looked at Day and Kuchar to win the tourney - or even betting Poulter and Kuchar to reduce the hedge in the final... but not worth it for what I laid down... but I will hedge the final somehow... take the emotions out of it and hedge something...it&#x27;s the long term/marathon of sports gambling - be prudent with every wager.... good luck

I also figure I want to see how the morning matches go - as someone could blow someone out and have a break on a 36 hole day...but for you - you should be able to get 4-1 on Day to win the tourney somewhere - better than &#x2B;300... but I would be hedging on Day if I were you... tough man, kind of depends how much you want to get out of it...and if you are a long term player - or a greedy pig like most of us!!!!

I appreciate the responses fellas. I went ahead and hedged 2 units for Day to win the tourney. I know my +300 line isn't ideal, but I use a local and it's my only means of getting action at the time.

If Kuchar hangs on, I think I'm going to hedge off 5 units for the championship instead of the 10 I had originally planned. I really like the way he's playing right now and I think he takes it home.

I&#39;m on a Kuch future too, to win $390Just put $120 to win $100 on Hunter leading After 3,6,9 holes for a total of $350.Maybe I can get an epic hedge and Kuch pulls it out on the back 9.

Kuch just win his match with a bogie round, I love the way he's been playing but Hunters got this course dialed and I wouldn't fuvk with him right now. Many a Sundays he's shot 9 under rounds when he's on his game.
Unless Kuch can get 5 birdies on the round he's not winning, also hunters driven alot if drives around 320..that's probably gona help
