NO PGA this week SO here are some thoughts on the Italian Open
"to win" bets
Scott Hend 30-1. finished 2nd @ Omega European Masters [-17] where he lost a playoff with Alex Noren and T-4th last week @ KLM Open [-12] where he had the lead after the 3rd round BUT "blew up" with a [+2] 73 the final day. CAN he break thru this week?
Alejandro Canizares 50-1. T-4th @ KLM Open [-12] last week. T-24th @ Omega European Masters [-7]. been a solid match play bet his last two tourneys
Richard Bland 60-1. T-5th @ Omega European Masters [-11]. T-16th @ KLM Open [-9]. was in contention in both but poor final rounds cost him
Nino Bertasio 80-1. T-24th KLM Open [-7] played well the first three days of the tourney and was in contention going to the final round BUT "blew up" with a [+6] 77
Matteo Manassero 100-1. hasn't done much lately BUT neither had Dutchman Joost Luiten going into the KLM. best recent T-3rd @ Scottish Open. BOTH Bertasio and Manassero are Italians playing in their countries Open like Luiten last week

Pablo Larrazabal even over Andy Sullivan
more a bet AGAINST Andy who has missed the cut his last three tourneys. Larrazabal solid his last two with T-20th KLM Open [-8] and T-7th @ Omega European Masters [-10]
Alejandro Canizares -110 over Thongchai Jaidee
like with Sullivan more a bet AGAINST Jaidee who has looked like CRAP his last two tourneys with only two rounds his last 6 under 70. CUT @ KLM Open and T-29th @ Omega European Masters [-6]. Canizares T-4th @ KLM Open [-12] last week. T-24th @ Omega European Masters [-7]
