just got back from a William-Hill book here in Las Vegas and they had these British Open odds
Tiger Woods 10-1 (???) Rory McIlroy 14-1 Adam Scott 17-1 Martin Kaymer 15-1 Phil Mickelson 22-1 Henrik Stenson 16-1 Justin Rose 11-1 Rickie Fowler 35-1 Jim Furyk 60-1
kinda goofy to see Tiger @ only 10-1 when I have seen him as high as 25-1 @ LVH Superbook
W-H has some interesting Top 10 and Top 20 Finish odds. first time I have seen those @ a Las Vegas sportsbook
Top 10 Finish Prop Rory McIlroy +180 Adam Scott +185 Justin Rose +160
Top 20 Finish Prop Martin Kaymer +115 Phil Mickelson +135 Henrik Stenson -105
probably ALL worth a shot @ +$$$

wondering IF there is any way to find results of practice rounds? wrent past a sportsbook today and one of my brother-in-laws picks for this week, Rickey Fowler, was down to 17-1. had been as high as 40-1 early this week. wondering iF he had been "shooting up" the course?
went to another book and he was 30-1

william hill now offers as many if not more betting options for a golf major then the lvh
biggest difference between the two I have noticed is that LVS Superbook has "over-under" bets with specific finish position as in FINISH POSITION Justin Rose OVER 20.5 -120 UNDER 20.5 EVEN or Tiger Woods OVER 39.5 -110 UNDER 39.5 -110. in this case the UNDER would be the winner IF Rose finished in the top 20 including ties. all are set right around "flat" bets @ -110
at William-Hill they have "to finish in the top ten" or "to finish in the top top twenty" props. example is Justin Rose to finish in top ten +160 and Martin Kaymer to finish in the top twenty +115
think the LVH props are better IF you want to parlay. you want a "just missed" bet to partial hedge a "to win the open" bet, the William-Hill is better because of the +$$$
as for go to a 3rd book and he will probably b 28-1 u have to shop for the best valueYa NO shite!!! odds on speciifc players are all over the place. Jim Furyk was 40-1 @ Cantor Gaming, 50-1 @ South Point & LVH superbook and 60-1 @ William Hill

well being in boulder city i am happy i no longer have to travel to the lvh to make golf bets by the way the app william hill has is very good
William-Hill phone app and the Cantor Gaming phone AND windows PC apps are the greatest thing since bubbles in beer for Nevada bettors. no more tearing azz and burning almost $4 a gallon gas running around from book to book to make your bets.
went by LVH Superbook last night for buffet which is $5 for locals Sunday thru Thursday and one of the better "old" buffets in town and checked their odds. kind of pizzed me off they would NOT let you parlay their "finish position over-under" bets on different players because they consider them a "prop" bet. load of bullshite
