Nicky is my prime "mid-range long shot" @ 50-1 (10/510) "to win" this week for the reasons you mentioned. also playing some guys who played well last week @ Wentworth
Jeunghun Wang 80-1 (5/405) ONLY because IF I do NOT bet the bugger, he WINS Graeme Storm 80-1 (5/405) tied 6th [-7] last week Max Kieffer 80-1 (5/505) tied 24th [-2] but was tied 2nd round lead Friday Alex Bjork 80-1 (5/405) tied 14th last week [-4] and shot [-6] final round Matteo Manassero 100-1 (5/505) ref: Jeunghun Wang Andrew Dodt 125-1 (4/504) tied 6th [-7] last week and had the 3rd round lead
of course BOTH Henrik Stenson @ 5-1 AND Alex Noren @ 7-1 are the "chalk" this week. somewhat surprised that Francesco Molinari is NOT playing here OR the Memorial this weekend. he has been HOT on BOTH tours with a 2nd last week @ Wentworth, tied 6th @ The Players and tied 7th @ the API

for what it's worth I also played these tourney match plays
Alex Levy even over Chris Wood (30/60) Paul Dunne -110 over Thorbjorn Olesen (33/63) Pablo Larrazabal -105 over Joost Luiten (31/60,50) Matthew Fitzpatrick +105 over Lee Westwood (30/61.50)
Alex Noren is +140 vs Henrik Stensen -160 which is VERY tempting BUT Alex has been known to "screw off" after a big tourney win

watching the first round it looked like the guys that played Wentworth last week were bamboozled by the slowness of the greens @ Barseback. the favorites Stenson [even], Noren [+2], Fitzpatrick [even] and Westwood [even] all played pretty poorly. Alex went bogie-bogie for that [+2] his last two holes
"Little Nicky" Colsaerts [even] first round vs Thor Olesen [-1]
will see WHAT happens Friday. LOT of golf left to play

Kind of surprised to see Oleson (-1) do so well today.
Ways to go and Colsaerts (E) down just 1.
Funny thing Oleson was actually at -3 and double bogeyed 18.
well Thor has started out well only to "blow up" later rounds recently so NOT too concerned about Nicky. 1st round leaders kind of a surprise. a bunch of "who ???" players BUT the "who's" started out well last week @ Wentworth too. usually does NOT last
the only "name" in the top seven is my ChiCom Haotong Li tied 5th @ [-3]. I did NOT play him this week because he was inconsistent last week @ Wentworth and figured his 40-1 did NOT have any "value"
watched the group of Stenson, Noren and Fitzpatrick last night. was surprised the way that Stenson was "spraying" esp off the tee. somewhat surprised he ended up [even]

Damn Oleson is having his best tourney of 2017 at T6 (-4)!
Before this event his best finish all year in 8 events was T8 in China, with NO OTHER TOURNEY FINISH BETTER THAN T29!
Wow!
At least Colsaerts is in striking distance at -1 only 3 strokes back.
Hopefully Oleson will remember he isn't that good
the one thing about Thor, he DID win the Turkish Open late last season and he and Lucas Bjerregaard DID win "Golf Sixes" earlier this season. need Nicky to shoot the "bomber" Saturday
I am 1-1 after cuts BUT my other two are "shaky" at best. WHY in the HELL I EVER bet on Paul "Dumb" is beyond me. was a "fade Thor" bet but STILL stupid
tourney match play bets [2nd round/tourney] Alex Levy even [-1/even] over Chris Wood [-5/-4] Paul Dunne -110 [-2/+3] CUT over Thorbjorn Olesen [-3/-4] LOSE Pablo Larrazabal -105 [even/+2] CUT over Joost Luiten [even/+4] CUT WIN Matthew Fitzpatrick +105 [-3/-3] over Lee Westwood [-1/-1]

CRAZY tourney for long shots going into the final round Sunday. Chris Wood leads with a 3rd round [-5] for tourney [-9] he was 30-1 pre-tourney BUT Renato Paratore[-2/-8] @ 100-1 and Ben Hebert [-3/-8] @ 125-1 tied for 2nd with (wouldn't you just know it) Thor Olesen [-3/-7] 4th. some "name players" "lurking" in range like Alex Levy [-5/-5] and "The Matthew Mouse" Fitzpatrick [-2/-5] tied 8th and my Korean kid Jeunghun Wang [-3/-6] @ 80-1 tied 5th
can someone shoot "the bomber" on Sunday like Alex Noren's [-10] final round last week @ Wentworth to WIN ??? he is @ [-3] so you can NOT count HIM out either

Unfortunately Oleson had his best week of the year (off a MC) and finished T4.
No way to handicap that
watched South African George Coetzee shoot a course record [-7] his final for a tourney [-9] tied for 4th with our friend Thor Olesen. quite a feat in that miserable cold rain all day. 20 year old Italian kid Renato Paratore @ 100-1 WINS with a [-3/-11] while 3rd round leader Chris Wood [-1] and "The Matthew Mouse" [-5] get tied for 2nd[-10]. watched that little sh!t Jeunghun Wang have trouble with his "putz" all damn day or HE could have been in contention. finishes tied 8th with [even/-6]
next week the Lyoness in Austria. it's the week before US Open so would NOT be surprised IF many of the "top guns" like Stensen, Noren and Fitzpatrick skip
