There are so many phenomenal players in the +30 to +200 range.
And some of these players are good at hitting fairways and have wins this year, good stats for the course.
You have Straka at 220, Todd at 500, Sunjae Im at 110, Koepka at 20, Conners 100, T Kim at 40, Grillo at 400, Schenk at 300, Harman at 120, Burns at 55, Si Woo Kim at 150, Henley at 110, Woodland at 250, just to name a few.
It's a great week to bet 25 guys, and try to hedge up and down over the 4 days. Putting a couple wire to wires, and McIlroy/Rahm/Scheffler round leaders for insurance.
Should be a great week to make money middling in my opinion, given all the great golfers who should make comebacks each day.
Only risk is if McIlroy, Scheffler, and Rahm runnaway with it from day 1. But given the strength of the field, even if they place top ten each round and not first, I think other players will jump in front enough times to hedge out, if necessary.
What do you think? Should be a very fun weekend.
Always throwing $100 on a 4-way run-off cause we haven't had that in a while and it would be fun. So why not? 50 to 1.

I feel good about Fitzpatrick. Of course all arrows are pointing to McIlroy. And didn't know it's Fleetwood's home course - if that's true, he's been playing the newer version of the course for what, 1-3 years now?

I’d love to see it but I can’t bet him anymore, I could’ve won a ton on him last week and after a 63 on Saturday I thought he’d finally step up but ofc he did nothing on Sunday when the pressure was on … And I still can’t talk about the shit ton of $ I could’ve won if he could’ve made a flipping putt ( many chances ) in the playoff at Canadian open. ( not to mention he just needed to par #18 and he wins!!!!! ) He’s just not a clutch guy and I’ve given up on TF but good luck 2 U

Im not seeing a whole lot of people and golf cappers on Fairway Jesus. Which is probably a reason he'll win. Lol.
Oh, i know the feeling. I had Nick for the Canadian Open. Who knows

You got Grillo? Nice. I had him when he won 2 months ago. If he's around and in contention, and for a decent price. I may jump on him after Friday's round.

Yea, i didnt end up taking Bob Mac. Whew. I do have fleet and rory at +1600 I went with my gut and waited for Rory to fall behind and live betted him at +1600. Depends who is lurking or within distance, i may "try" hedging after the 3rd round.
3rd round will have some value. Watch the weather and tee times very closely

Crazy thing about Grillo is that for round low score, he has nearly the best odds in the field, including all the guys above par. He is +13000 on DK. After Norem and Grace and jordan and 50 other guys. Unbelievable. I don't think people realize that Grillo is a top 30 distance driver and a top 30 birdie maker on the tour.
Just crazy good value no matter what happens. Someone will get some lucky putts and bounces and he is just as likely as anyone.

Harman was 110-1 pre-tournament. I feel like it is good value as he is a top 50 player. I am wondering why he is favored to win know as someone with that long odds should be projected to not be able to maintain.

I was wondering the same thing all morning. I would understand if today was Saturday but it’s only Friday obviously. Sad to see Fleetwood mucking about all round and not gaining a stroke. Would be really cool to see him win it there at his home course BUT it’s WAY too much pressure for him. I expect him to play great tomorrow and shoot 79 on Sunday as usual

Yeah LOL he’s folding alright. It’s the rest of the field who been folding all week. Harman’s the only man on the course who doesn’t completely blow and who actually came to play golf this week! I give up betting golf and I have Brian freakin Harman to thank for saving me lots of $$ from here on out! @joe pockets
