Day v Spieth
I have Day as the best golfer in the world. Jordan isn't in my top 4 right now. I'll keep playing this matchup each week.
Louis v Rose
There are 2 injuries I think affect golfers the most. Wrist and back. And I don't think Rose's back is 100%. That leads to inconsistency, and he probably isn't going to hold together all tournament. Louis can be frustrating to be on at times, but I think he will hang around and end up finishing strong on Sunday.
Sergio v Fowler
Sergio is playing fantastic right now. 3 top 5's in the last 3 tourneys. Fowler isn't playing good enough to get in top 5's right now. I think Sergio can win this tourney. Wouldn't surprise me if Rickie missed the cut.
Zach Johnson v Matthew Fitzpatrick
Zach is coming off of 2 top 10 finishes, and Fitzpatrick is coming off of 2 missed cuts. Oh, and by the way...Zach won this tournament last year, and has 2 other top 10 finishes. Fitzpatrick has played in the Open once and finished 44th.
Kuchar v Watson
Bubba has missed the cut the last 2 Opens. Cuter has 5 top 6 finishes in his last 6 tournaments. Bubba doesn't have a finish that good in a long time.
Westwood v Willet
Willet since winning the Masters hasn’t been great. He has a 3rd, but he also has 4 MC’s, and he is coming off of 2 straight MC’s. Westwood has 4 top 15’s in his last 5 tourneys, and he just always seems to play good at the majors.

Dustin Johnson v Rory McIlroy
I had a feeling Rory wasn’t terrific in first rounds, and then I found this great stat. Since the Masters, Dustin Johnson has played 6 1st rounds under 70. Rory has played 0 first rounds under 70. Then what does Rory do in round 2? 4 out of 6 tournaments since the Masters he’s shot 69 or lower. So I’m hoping Rory doesn’t do great in round 1, and then we turn around and play him in round 2.
