Poulter -135 v HendBack after injury Poulter has 6 tourneys under his belt.I&#x27;ve noticed he is playing much better and its because he was injured and is now healthy.In an interview Poulter sounds confident and ready.He has great history here.It&#x27;s a short, tight coursePoulter said the following:I&#x27;m rested.I feel my game, now 6 events in, feels pretty good, so its good to come to a golf course where I&#x27;ve had quite a bit of success.  Quite a few rounds in the 60s on this course and holding the trophy in 2010.So I&#x27;m looking forward to the challenge this week.I feel my game is there...I just need to hole a few putts.A lot of guys play well on certain courses.  This is 1 of those courses for me, where I like the visuals from the tee.In contrast, Hend in his interview said,it&#x27;s the end of the year, I&#x27;m really quite tired.  Lost some strenghth. I don&#x27;t normally play European Tour, but man...Danny Willet &#x2B;110 v Justin Rose suuuuuure looks tempting.Rose was supposed to take a bunch of time off of golf to let his back heal....he played for a bit last week and WD?  Why is he playing this week?

Willet has had a bad back for a long time.
Withdrew about a month ago before round 1 to rest back in prep for Race to Dubai series final events.
He really hasn't played well since shortly after Masters. Maybe it was 1st kid that took time away from golf but whatever it was he has been awful for months.
I had a future on him to win the race to Dubai and he had a huge lead and did nothing much from summer on and folded. Rory pretty much passed a lot of the Euro events so it was Willets to take but he was caught by stenson who was way back.
We know Rose is the better player.
I did look at anti Rose play but couldn't pull trigger.

"Fat Pat" Reed was -150 over Rose at William-Hill's Hong Kong tourney match play. Reed [even] end of his 1st round. Rose [-1] thru #3. Rose can probably defeat Reed IF his back holds up and he does NOT WD. "Fat Pat" been pretty "shaky" lately since the Ryder Cup

I chanced Rafael Cabrera-Bello -110 over Danny Willett. Rafa with the early tourney lead in @ [-6] end of his 1st round BUT a lot of players to tee OR still on the course with Willett [even] thru #2

also Jeunghun Wang -110 over Thongcgai Jaidee. NOT a good start for my Korean boy [+1] thru #2 with Jaidee [-1] thru #3 BUT it's early

RCB is the real deal. Breakout year.
My line was Rafa -140 over Willet.
Looks like That should be a winner.
Rafa missed only 1 cut all year with a whole bunch of T10s
Good Ryder cup performance too
Willet can be good but hasn't for a long time

Love Rafa.  He was money all year.  Unfortunately, 5dimes had a pretty good read on him so I didn&#x27;t get the great lines I was hoping for.  Hoping the books don&#x27;t give him and Russell Knox a lot of respect next year on Pga tour cause those two could be cash cows in the states.

Hey Alan,RCB is $$.  The books did pick up on him but he is still a little underrated.  Still $$ to be made.He is a stud.  Terrific shape, young, and playing the best golf of his life.  This was a breakout year.  I don&#x27;t expect him to look back.  Watch Hatton too, as he is a pretty good young European who has been showing up on the PGA tour.  He may be underrated still.Of course Alex Noren is very good and may be underrated as well, although I think he moved into the World Top 10.  He is at the top of his game right now.  Won 4 times on the European tour this year and gave Stenson a late run for the Race to Dubai (finished 3rd, behind Willet).PGA this week is a no bet with this team play.How is 5Dimes working out for you?  I&#x27;ve heard good things.Do they pay your winnings quickly?Do you find them reliable?I got beat by 2 offshores which both went bellyup and now only play with my local.World Sports Exchange (WSEX) beat me for $11k!AcesWild (many years ago) only a few hundred.

I&#x27;ve heard horror stories about 5dimes, but I&#x27;ve never experienced anything negative about them.  Might try and find a local or two to play Golf plays after the first of the year.

Just completed round 2 and Poulter had lousy day (+2).

I guess I shouldn't be surprised.

He has sucked all year although has been better since he came back after 5 month injury layoff.

You bet Poulter you get Poulter.

Only down 3 to Hend but was looking for better performance given his recent improved play, pre tourney confidence, and history at this event.

Didn't post but was ready to bet Fleetwood v Wang at -115 but waited and it went to -125 and I laid off. Fleetwood has really picked it up recently after hitting the skids for awhile.

Instead I laid -135 to Hend who is a good player but sounded tired and only had 1 good year at this event. Kicking myself.

Oh well, will keep my fingers crossed on Poulter picking it up over the weekend.

is the "Poultre-geist" related to 1970&#x27;s the 1970&#x27;s Australian golfer Bruce "Crabby" Crampton ??? anyone see him "blow up" with a quadruple bogie on #15 the 2nd round then crab at the TV camera people for "disturbing him" ??? took the guy 3 tries to get out of a shallow sand trap. he "squeeked" the cut @ [even] along with "Fat Pat" Reed damn Westgate and William-Hill with NO adjusted "to win" odds after the 2nd round which is unusual. I have a feeling that little sh!t Thongchai Jaidee OR Tommy Fleetwood may shoot some "bomber" round the last two days although Tommy blew his last two holes the 2nd round missing a sure birdie putt #17 THEN bogie on #18. I am pulling for Rafael Cabrera-Bello to get his first win (he&#x27;s been SO close) BUT it is tough to go "wire-to-wire" in a tourney

RatI missed that but glad I did. UghhIit gives me hope Poulter can make some birdies and catch hend over final 2 rounds. Poulter was &#x2B;5 last 4 holes (bogey 18)Poulter was in late wave round 2 which aired 1 am-4 am in New York. Was asleep.

FWIW Last week I mentioned a capper on covers named Scal who I've tailed and made a load of $$$ on.

I posted his 2 picks and they both won.

He only posts 1 or 2 games a week but this morning he posted Army +5.5

Line now +4.5.

He is 34-16 YTD. That's crazy good.

I'll be on it heavy. Liked it anyway. Navy too many injuries.

I am pulling for Rafael Cabrera-Bello to get his first win (he&#x27;s been SO close) BUT it is tough to go "wire-to-wire" in a tourney feel BAD for Rafa. yet another missed chance at a WIN with pretty pedestrian 3rd &amp; final rounds for a [-12] 2nd place. gotta feel GOOD for "field hand" Sam Brazel, though. the Aussie was world ranked 480th going into the tourney and held his 3rd round lead with a HUGE pressure birdie putt on #18 for the [-13] WIN. from what I saw you will see Sam on leaderboards next seaon on the Euro Tour  Tommy Fleetwood and Aussie Andy Dodt (sounds like what Homer Simpson says when he screws something up, "DODT!!!") tie for 3rd [-11] while American Euro Tour player David Lipsky had a good tourney at 5th with [-10]. he just missed hitting it stiff on #18 the final day with the damn ball rolling back into the water hazard or he could have been tied for the lead. that was Lipsky&#x27;s 5th 6th place or better his last 12 tourneys. he COULD be close to a "break through" next season THANK GOD Rafa held on the WIN over Danny Willett [-9]. at least I cashed ONE tourney match play to get a little money BACK

RatYour wrap up is on the money. Dodt Lipsky Fleetwood all in good form now. RCB is very good but needs to finish. One thing for sure if you see Poulter do as Monty Python ...run away!

I will be interested to see IF Sam Brazel is a "one tourney wonder" on the Euro Tour next season. he gets a two year exemption with the Hong Kong win although he MIGHT just stay on the Asian Tour IF he thinks that is the "easy money". he sure looked poised the final round. his putt for the win on #18 was NO "gimme"

as for the "Poultre-geist", I wouldn't bet him with someone else's money. same with "Fat Pat" Reed who has done NO-thing since the Ryder Cup. he was the @ 13-2 pre-tourney favorite and -150 matchplay vs Rose. shot [-1] vs Rose [-2] for the tourney
