 Sheer torture

Ortiz played lousy but led most of the way and didn’t trail till he missed a 4’ putt on 17

then on 18 looked like it’d be a push but Clark hit a shot from 99 yards to a foot and we lose by 1

same crap happened to me rd2

bet against Champ who sucks and can’t putt (last of 217 players in strokes gained putting) and he made a ton of putts including a 43’ bird and a hole out eagle 

today was gonna bet against Champ and they dont put up a line on a Champ matchup.  

naturally champ played lousy.  Got out early before any wind, and shot -1 which was an awful score and putted his usual -1+ strokes gained.  The guy can’t putt, except when I bet against him

good bets, bad outcomes...lose $$$

Great bet brother. No matter how good a bet is, we always will have at least a 33% chance of losing it. Too much variance in one round. Keep it up and move on

You really only can cap a tournament so much. I have capped tourneys the same way for awhile and you will get mixed results. One bad round, hole, etc can really turn things real quick.

About your quote above, just keep doing YOUR thing. Everyone is responsible for playing their own money....plain and simple. If someone has capped the tourney and agrees with your assessment than they can follow along. There are some good people in the golf forum. I also figure there are people just looking for a quick handout as well and don't want to take the time to cap. I don't wager matchups but always looking for a good read on the golf forum. Keep it up!
