looking at the leaderboard i think its his to lose .. only real threats are grace reed and luiten but all three have never won a major before and i just dont see dustin johnson winning a major year .. have to back the young phenom here who is in the lead and is the best putter in the world right now .. Spieth to win US Open + 225 risking 400/900 .. BOL

Honestly, i feel there are safer bets to make with $400. You're playing 1 guy against a field of 75 (although you'd have to worry about only 20 of the 75). It takes Speith 1 bad hole for the lead to go to garbage. Patrick Reed u71.5 is very forgiving. The guys playing right now don't seem to struggle as much as yesterday. I also saw a prop bet "players to shoot under par u/o 4.5. I missed out on it with my bookie, but i feel betting over on that is a much safer bet than slamming 400 on spieth to win. +225 isnt that great of a payout when you're playing against a field. just my $0.02.

I'd play Day or Grace at this point. DJ just doesn't hit the 6-10fters with enough consistency. (He'd likely win easy if he does for 1 round) Spieth is rock solid, but his "Miss" tendency is to the left and that could cause some trouble come with Sunday's pins.''
I think Day may ride the momentum swing from the end of Round 3 into tomorrow. Assuming she doesn't catch that Vertigo...it may be his to lose.

Day played the round of his life.....think he will run out of gas...seriously he was exhausted after the round..... like DJ's long ball hitting that will shorten the game....and he will hit enough putts to win...JMHO....BOL....

They all need to have a round of their life tomorrow. The difference is each has their strengths and weaknesses.
DJ - Can fly the ball a mile which gives him shorter irons in. Short game isn't the best and he's not to be trusted on the 10fters that may be needed for Par on Sunday.
Day - Same as DJ, can fly the ball long...not as accurate but a much better short game and putter. Vertigo IMO may be the only thing that keeps him from winning.
Grace - Low draw ball flight sets up well on this course...and a good putter. Plays on courses like this far more often which is a big factor.
Spieth - Has won a major so knows what it takes. Best putter on tour. His tendency to miss left might be his downfall with some of the tight pins expected on Sunday.
I'd play Grace & Day for the odds, and live on Johnson or Spieth after a few holes (Would still likely get +100-+150 range on either with a lead)

ill take the win but boy how could you not feel for dustin johnson .. 3 putts from 12 feet on the 18th hole stuff like that is hard to overcome .. he might finish his majors career like sergio garcia close but no cigar
