This week we look through the windshield, and not the rear view mirror.
Swafford -135 v Mahan
Olesen -105 v DeChambeau
Lahiri +100 v Furyk
Chappell -115 v Mickelson
Finau -105 v Moore
Fowler -120 v Watson
Na -130 v Lingmerth
Hadwin -110 v HEarn
Choi -110 v Glover
I've been sick the last few days. Not in the mood to write the write-ups right now. I'll put them up tomorrow after I get a fantastic night of "nyquil, alka-seltzer cold, and mucinex" enduced sleep.
I've never promised anything about my picks. But I PROMISE they will have more winners than last week. Mostly because last week the picks had no winners, but STILL..........I promise.

Mahan has missed the cut 4 out of the last 5. Swafford 3 straight made cuts.
Olesen v DeChambeau
Bryson has 4 straight MC's. Olesen missed the cut last week, but before that has lots of good finishes on the European Tour. Olesen has played here before and finished 8th. Bryson never played here.
Chappell v Mickelson
I'm ignoring the MC last week from Chappell. He got caught up in round 2 being split from friday to saturday morning. He's been rock solid besides that and Phil has missed the cut 3 out of the last 4.
Lahiri V Furyk
I don't think Furyk's wrist is totally healed. Lahiri has been playing really well.
Finau v Moore
Sneaky stat that I bet you didn't know: Ryan Moore has 3 straight missed cuts. Something's not right with him. Don't know if it's an injury or if he's in a funk. Finau is playing great.
Fowler v Watson
This year when Rickie has been bad...he's been real bad. When he's good he's been much better than Bubba. I think he comes out strong this week gearing up for the US Open.
Na v Lingmerth
I know Lingmerth won here last year, but I don't buy it. Na is a better golfer, and has played well here the last 2 years.
Hadwin v Hearn
Two guys playing well, but I'm going with Hadwin here. 6 straight made cuts...4 top 40's in the last 6 tourneys. Hearn can be inconsistent at times, and missed the cut here last year.
Choi v Glover
Choi likes this course. Glover has 2 straight missed cuts. Really this is a bet that Choi makes the cut and Glover doesn't.

This is going to be a fun tournament to watch. I was really liking Oleson over DeChambeau until I saw who Oleson was paired up with. I think it is crucial for Oleson to have a really good start to this event. My only play this week is Howell III +100 vs Webb Simpson. I am just not a believer of that new putting stroke for Simpson yet. Howell III is having a very solid year so far (16/19 cuts made with 13 top 25's). I think the wrong guy is favored here.
