Not starting a new thread this week. Likely laying off the BMW and Tour Championship and waiting until the new season in a few weeks. Hopefully some longshots come in but the best of the best are playing now.
Here are my plays for the Nationwide Children's Hospital Championship on the Korn Ferry. Definitely added a few guys on this week but playing more on some of the longer shots this week.

I added Kodaira at 80/1 before this round and has looked real good so far. Shooting a -7 thru 11 holes so far today. See if he can hold it up today and compete into the weekend.
Whaley tees it off in less than 2 hours. I have him to win already and top 10 at 7/1 odds. He shot a -3 yesterday and hoping he can have a monster day and take it into the weekend as well.
I put some wagers on the Omega Tournament which upon reflection was probably not a good idea. Just got back in to golf this year with my son's urging. Don't know that much about many of these golfers but I enjoy having a punt or two. The pre-tournament favorites are at the top of the leaderboard but still a couple of days left. I'll say one thing about that course, the views are spectacular, the beautiful Swiss Alps.

Yeah I didn't touch that at all. I probably cap PGA Tour, Korn Ferry than European Tour in that order. Trying to get more into the European Tour but there are still so many guys I don't have a good feel on yet. Like you said though it is nice seeing different views and courses.
I have been on here more for the last year to year in a half now. Still working from home going on 18 months due to work wanting us to (Covid) and sometimes I get more time to cap. Have made some nice dough during that time. I tend to play longshots with some others mixed in. Figure out the way you like to wager and can make money off of and stick to it. 
I respect your opinion, you certainly know more than I do regarding these golf tournaments. I'm retired so have plenty of time to watch a few holes. I've been primarily picking golfers that offer the best value after checking odds with the various sources. I prefer matchups as I've had some limited success with them and like the extensive menu offered. Never looked in to the Golf forum here until recently but I'll check in here periodically, always appreciate any information, selections. May all your picks at least make the cut. 
Thanks for the kind words. I love golf but I do tend to play the longshots a bit more. That is why I do love wagering on PGA Tour when the "Big Dogs" are taking the week off or the Korn Ferry. Harder to hit FRL and Outright Win but I love the reward vs the risk. FRL you might as well throw them on a roulette table. It feels like half the time a guy shoots the round of his life and than is a no show. I work with numbers so it all depends on the odds of what I hit and frequency. I don't expect to hit weekly or might go cold for a month or two straight.
I don't tend to let emotion into the factor. At least not until the last round 
A guy can make or break his tourney on a single hole at any time.
I feel good going into the 3rd round. Looks like might have some lousy weather coming so will see how it is tomorrow night LOL
Two leaders are at -10. I have 3 guys at -9, one at -8, one at -7, one at -5 and two at -3. My biggest payout would be Montgomery or Young winning it and Whaley coming in top 10. I wouldn't complain if Whaley just wanted to win it either. Luck scares me a bit as he has been below average but loves this course and is at -9.
I much agree about participating in the tournaments that don't have all of the "gunslingers" involved. Much better chance of hitting a nice priced ticket. In the Omega, I have Migliozzi 35/1, Kaymer 50/1, Korhonen 60/1, Sharma 80/1 and Peterson 140/1. Only the last two appear to have any chance, at least much better after the first two rounds.

Thanks for the kind words I won a decent amount on my Illini today vs Nebraska in college football. I won't wager on them often but catching them at +7.5 early I jumped on it. Had them +7.5 and ML. More just happy they won in general. I love my Illinois football and basketball!
Golf tournaments are hard to pick. I am not an elite capper or I would pick 2-3 guys each week. I routinely pick 5-10 guys I like and sometimes I do throw in a few that I don't like as much because I see value. I started off small during the college days and years after until my college loans were paid off. I wager a decent amount now but also work within a budget. I don't hedge until the last round if I need too. That being said.....
On the Nationwide Children's Hospital Championship going into the last round tomorrow I have Vincent Whaley tied for 1st at -15. I have him at 80/1 odds to win and 7/1 odds to finish top 10. Next closest guys I have are at -10 and -9. I will keep a close eye on the tourney tomorrow to see if I need to make any moves.
(ChinaCraig-I may use technology for work and somewhat for leisure. That being said I don't use a Twitter, Instagram or Facebook account. I was born in the 1980s so not that old. 
The favorites can't win all the tournaments. That goes especially for Korn Ferry and European Tour. I laid off the BMW this week and will skip next week as well. I will see what value is in the Korn Ferry Tour Championship next week. Sticking to your own gut is probably the best way to wager Outright Win in golf. Otherwise you likely get the same so called online experts from pay sites picking between 5/1 to 20/1 each week. Just my two cents)
