I made 3 DK plays this am
Harman -130 Power
Fleetwood-120 Finau
Henley +100 Morikawa
Fleetwood-120 v Finau
Heard on the broadcast Fleetwood has been working with coach Harmon recently. Whatever it is he sure looks good
3 Top 5 finishes last 5 events and a T18. Last 2 were 2nd & 5th. Played here 2x and made cut both times and has a T13 (2019)
Finau hasn’t been sharp. 32/MC/72 last 3 starts. At this event he was T13 last year but MC 3 years in a row before that
Just think this course is more suitable to Fleetwood’s game. Not a long course but need to hit fairways and scramble.
Harman -130 v Power.
As I mentioned not a long course. Need to hit fairways and irons and scramble and putt. Harman last 5 years here has 4x Top 8. Wasn’t great at US Open finishing T43 but beat Power who MC
Power lately not good.MC/41/MC. He plays ok here 25/19/66/36/MC but not nearly as good as Harman
Henley -120 v Morikawa
Think course fits Henley’s game more than Morikawa.
Henley has been sharp lately. T14 at US Open and before that 16/16 and before that he laid off for 5 events but was 19/4. So last 5 events he has 4 Top 19.
His history here is good.19/32/MC/6/11
Morikawa can’t putt and his limited history at this short course is apparently not great. Played here in 2020 and MC and 2019 was T36. His current form is not great but he was better last week at US Open when he too finished T14 (same as Hw let) BUT he knew that course well so that was an advantage. But prior to that he finished WD/29/26/MC/MC
Again think course fit and current form favors Henley.
