If there is anything I have learned from watching golf is that ANYBODY can win on any given Sunday. With that being said, I love there is no cut and the odds for "long shots" are enticing, especially for top 50 players in the World. Each of these plays I only put down $25.
Here are my overall winner thoughts:
Bubba (not a fan of his 9/1 odds) Last years runner up and his length suits Doral. Also, a decent West Coast Swing to start the year with 3 top 15 and T2.
Kaymer: 45/1 is not bad for the Wunderkid. Has proven himself with a Major and Players Championship under his belt. Plays well at tough courses. Played well early this year. Only concern lately is ability to finish.
Matsuyama: 29/1. His victory last year at the Memorial with a strong field. Kid is no fluke and may not win a Major this year, but I can see him coming from behind on Sunday for a win. Only concern is his putting, especially when in contention.
Donaldson: 35/1. Runner up last year and finished strong last week at Honda in tough conditions.
TNT Matchups:
Bubba over Rory (+130): I like the odds more than I do the match up. Both favorites in the field, I'll take the one with better odds.
Donaldson over Furyk: (-105): Square bet is take the well known American, but I like how Donaldson has been playing as of late and has good track record at Doral
Charl over Woodland (-102): Both players haven't been playing well as of late, but I will be throwing a blind dart here to favor the past Masters Champion.
Top 10
Fowler (+340): Has not played up to potential as of late but his efforts in last years Major(s) proves he is just as capable of a top 10, especially these odds and no cut.

Lahiri with 2 wins in a span of 3 weeks and with those odds...how can you not sprinkle something on that. Unfortunately my site has him as "field" and with those lousy odds I can't make that play. I like your Grace and Holmes plays as well. Long hitters course, but will see how the Bermuda affects their play around the greens. Good luck to you as well.

Good Luck but saying Schwartzel's been playing well is a bit off..actually he has stunk and buried me the last 2 weeks
I like the rest and your analysis is appreciated
Both players as of late have not been playing well. Charl jumped off to a good start in January but has been disappointing since. Woodland played well in Hawaii but hasn't cracked top 30 in last 3 events. I feel like the lower ranked Americans do not play as well in the WGC events.
Thanks and good luck to you this week

Bubba (not a fan of his 9/1 odds) Last years runner up and his length suits Doral. Also, a decent West Coast Swing to start the year with 3 top 15 and T2. (Need a quick start to put pressure on Holmes)

Donaldson over Furyk: (-105): Square bet is take the well known American, but I like how Donaldson has been playing as of late and has good track record at Doral (This is going to come down to the back 9)
Charl over Woodland (-102): Both players haven't been playing well as of late, but I will be throwing a blind dart here to favor the past Masters Champion. ( I'm down early and need for Woodland to stumble and Charl to pick up some birdies)
Top 10

Posted a "ghost" message... Still have outside chances for my picks. Looks like the course is getting the best of the early starts. Hope for a close one and I am certain there will be some dramatics. One of the hardest finishing holes on Tour. BOL everyone
