3rd round leaders Spaun and Hossler BOTH "blow up" while German "bottom feeder" Alex Cejka (pre-tourney (125-1) shoots a "bomber" [-8] in the wind to get into a playoff with my Korean boy Whee Kim (pre-tourney 100-1) [-5] and Patrick Cantlay [-4] @ [-9]. Kim had a glorious chance to WIN in regulation with an 8 foot par putt on #18 and LEFT it SHORT!!! seemed like NO one wanted to WIN the 1st round of the playoff as they ALL bogied #18. THEN Kim hits his tee shot in the sh!t 2nd round while Cejka and Cantlay get just off #18. Cantlay up & down for par vs Cejka bogie for the WIN.
I could have just STANGLED Whee Kim when he CHOKED that 8 foot putt. I KNEW the damn playoff was NOT going to end well and I had a $500 value "to win" ticket on the guy. played GREAT the final nine with FIVE birdies BUT that #18 bogie cost him the outright WIN @ [-10]. seems like this SH!T always happens with my "to win" players

I think on the telecast they said final 3 groups shot +18 combined on 17 and 18 on Sunday. Wind didn't really kick in until late and Cejka had already posted. Thought he made that putt on 1st playoff hole. Wasn't great golf to watch at the end.

some interesting "to win" odds this week at OHL Classic in Mexico Whee Kim is 50-1. he has been "wicked close" his last two with outright 4th in Korea [-6] and now tied 2nd in that playoff last week [-9]. Alex Cejka who shot that final round [-8] last week too get into the playoff is 80-1. high odds J T Poston, who finished tied 4th last week [-8] with a final round [-5] last week, is 100-1 while rookie Talor Gooch, who shot well last week ex for Saturday, and the German Stephan Jaeger, who also had a good tourney, are 150-1
last weeks 3rd round leaders JJ Spaun and Beau Hossler probably also worth a "sprinkle" @ 80-1 even though they both "blew up" in the afternoon wind last Sunday
