PGA bets were a moderate success with +9.00 units for the whole tournament. I'm back to post my thoughts and bets for the regular season finale at the Wyndham championship.

Langley +100 over de Jonge, 1.0 to win 1.0.

Wagner +138 over Martin, 2.0 to win 2.76

Chad Campbell -120 over Harman, 3.6 to win 3.0
Justin thomas +105 over A. Scott, 4.0 to win 4.2
Will Wilcox -175 over tiger woods, 8.75 to win 5.0

Loving Wilcox this week. Been on a mini tear and due to breakout, course suits his and justin Thomas's game very well.

I too had a decent PGA BUT could have been twice as good with a Jordan Spieth or ANY of the Top 7 winning instead of Jason Day. over-unders REALLY saved me.

pretty sorry 1st round for me with only Kaymer and Els covering. took these for Friday

Matsuyama -105 over Koepka
Haas -125 over Kaymer
Scott -115 over Horschel
Simpson +105 over Snedeker
Blixt -110 over Harman

first four are kind of "halfazzed hedge" bets because I have tourney bets on the four opponents. Blixt beat Harman "like a baby seal" -5 to even and I have no reason to think that doesn't continue. all straight bets plus a 5 player "lottery ticket". left out Ernie Els because was kinda "I got mine" today

I didn't like any second round matchups. I'll be looking at some for tomorrow. On a side note, Wilcox is making me look like an idiot for backing him so hard. Let's hope he can make the cut and anything is possible after that.

played Tiger mostly because my best "to win the tourney" shot right now is Brandt Snedeker @ 18-1 SO it's a "halfazzed hedge". Tiger @ 40-1 looking pretty good right now. be just like him to WIN this thing and "squeek in" to the FedEx playoffs

I don't think I'm any good at this golf stuff. freeking 1-4-1 Saturday to go along with my other two sorry rounds. just gonna watch Sunday and HOPE Brandt Snedeker can make a charge. the way this "field hand" Jason Gore is playing I think he will be hard to catch

damn near impossible to pick a straight up winner in a golf tourney. WHO the HELL figures "Da Tird" WINS this thing? the SOB has done NO thing since 2008. I end up with 2 of my 7 plays in the top 6 BUT that gets NO Nachos. do NOT think I will bet any more golf unless some sportsbook has over-unders available. did well with those in all the majors

I stay away from betting tourney winners unless it is a major.

I've been doing well with tournament match ups, especially this late in the season. There is a ton of stats and information on the players in regards to their form.

I'm hit and miss with the daily match ups, although I did have "Da Tird" at +200 today against Ryan Moore, based solely on their 4th round scoring averages.

0-2 for me on 4th round matchups. 5-2 for full tournament matchups but lost my biggest play of Wilcox over tiger. I agree that full tournament winners are hard to select, I did well with top 5s and 10s for majors. I'll be posting through the playoffs too for anyone that will still be betting.
