Anyone else FEELING MINNESOTA? On the cusp of 20 and have the opportunity to get it at home. The WILD are ( I'm figuring ) the hottest team in the NHL, more so than the Pens and I'm a pens fan. This team has never in it's (wild) history has never played as well as they have this year. Sure they were a little wobbly once the season started but imagine this club having a training camp. Parise and Suter have finished out the missing parts of this franchise. From the hockey "experts" on the tv this team of course will not be mentioned in the same category as "the hawks" or " the pens" in general. (ducks too) I see this team as being one of the most balanced clubs in the NHL. Remind of the Canucks team 2-3 years ago, and right now I would take the WILD in a 7 game series over the PENS. The only thing that could derail this team would be ( knock on wood ) is the injury bug. C. Johnson has a .98 goals against %? Ifn he's remotely this good I might stay away from the o/u, but that PUCK-LINE is flashing in bright lights like Dirk Digglers name was in BOOGIE NIGHTS. The eastern conference playoff race will in no way compare to the finish in the west. Gots to build the lead while this teams healthy, for the WILD fans you are all too familiar with being in the early playoff picture. Only to lose your run after the ALL-STAR break... and to think I used to hate watching the WILD even take the ice... GL e1
