So I figured since Portland is hot they would blow these guys out, so far it's looking good with the Trailblazers up by 18 as of this post. ouch, tough loss. start up again, BOL |

When cashing out winnings from an online sports book, naturally these are deposited in a checking s/savings account in your bank. Are these taxable, do i have to do anything when i file my taxes?
I want to be completely good with IRS so any advice is appreciated. |

What's up everyone! I am looking to take a trip to vegas in a few months
and I want your opinion on where to go and what are the best
sportsbooks there.
This is going to be my first time there and I only wager on sportsbooks (no blackjack, craps, and all that). The average of my wagers would be $500-$1000 . Now , from your experience what are hotels/casinos/sportsbooks that you recommend meaning a nice setting, sportsbooks will take my bets, etc. Also is there a danger of me getting mugged while I carry my money to my room or car? Ridiculous question I know but i've always wondered that since I have never been there. Thank you! Hope a lot of people reply with their experiences and pros and cons about vegas sportsbooks/hotels/casinos. P.S. btw bets may go up to $5000 depending my winnings |

sure they are ways around to betting online. thats a given. but say something happens to your sportsbook and they dont payout in time, or they take a long time to payout and you get worried n then they dont pay you at all. what r u going to do then ....?

Sportsbetting a gray area in US legal system- to be or not to be a bettor?

thats the question. i've been doing some research and i am sure this subject is really annoying to some bettors. USA is considered on of the top countries of the world and not alllowing online sports betting at first seemed like a joke to me. England , fellow country is making billions by regulating the betting industry.
long story short i recently joined bodog and decided to not deposit but just ask the support if it is okay for me to place wages and withdraw moeny from them . they said its fine, but couple of days ago i read in the news that bodog WILL NOT BE ACCEPTING US PLAYERS by the of decmber 31,2011 https://www.rgtonline.com/article/bodog-to-leave-u-s-market-at-the-end-of-year-104219?Categoryi decided to delete my account there. now my question to u guys is can i as an adult living in the US bet on sports online at a sportsbook and withdraw money? will the winnings be taxable? and what are we talking about here,LEGAL or ILLEGAL??? thank you |

Just saying in my opinion baseball seems like the sport that has lots of rules and ifs comparing to other sports... maybe cause of pitcher stats and fielding stats and batting stats. lots of info in mlb

i thought for a total to be graded the game has to to 9 COMPLETE innings . when i won a total my bet was pushed buecause the home team did not play the 9th. but when i lost my over bet , the home did not play the 9th inning and they graded a loss. have the rules changed recently because im not familiar...
