Personaly my opinion, and it ant a hell of alot, but the only 2 offencences that can beat Bama are Stanford and Boise state....Arkansas cant and LSU wont.....Bama defence puts Bamas offence in great field position...that is how they win..

My God folks this is plain and simple....now I will probably get fired on here so go for it....but right now I think Boise is the best Offience the country...they have the "Payton Manning" of College football in the QB position running the show ..Or Tom Brady..call him that if you wish..they just absalutly tore Georgias deffence a new ASSHOLE....24 first downs, 390 yards and five touchdowns. They should have scored a sixth time, but quarterback Kellen Moore threw a rare bad interception deep in Bulldog territory and this was Bosie first game! AWAY!....and why in the hell are people hyped on Toledo....is it a possiability that this year Ohio State is just not that good?....I have heard so many in here , just plain and simple OVERCAP this game...kellen more has been plugged into the Boise system for 5 years....and with the newer receivers will get better as the year goes along...I got the game when it was at 18...hell I would take Boise if ti went to 25.

Personaly in my opinion, I am leaving this game alone... I think Washington can cover spread...but and it is a large but..if Washington falls behind early Washington may just cash it in because next week their reagular season starts and they will give their regs rest....

I have to say I have a cousin that is very close to a couple of players at Michigan and he is telling me the new defencive cordinator from the Baltimore Ravens...Greg Mattison..Is a great teacher and the Michigan defence is soaking everything up very quickly because Mattision is NOT over coaching...I am really thinking about playing Michigan for this reason..actualy I hear the defence is comming around faster than the offince with a new offincive cord. also....and still the offince is showing signs of greatness with the speed they have..I am expecting Michigan to slowly put the screwes down on their defence as the year progress..right now i am leaning tword the UNDER with Notre Dame...

Personaly when you loook at the game from the inside out, Penn St has heard a lot about Alabamas Defence, so what happens they get into the defencive mode also. inotherwords ...this is Penn St house dont come up here and think you will shut us down we have a great defence ourselves... so what we have is a hell of a hard hitting defencive struggle neither team can throw the ball with great consistancy...but I FEEL Penn st will be forced in more 3rd and long than Alabama and that will be the difference...I think mark dogg above me has it correct in the score I have it 20-10 THE KEY IS WHO WILL GET THE BETTER FIELD POSSITION and normally that goes to the better defencive team..Penn St will have everyone back in the defencive back field except their great linbacker who went to the pros,,,,,so dont think Bama will throw with any great consistancy.....Bama has almost everyone back on defence and THEY BRING IT!.....10 is good enough for Bama I think they wiolol ahve the shorter field to work with a few times during the game..and that will make the diference. |

I would like to make a point here Penn St will be hearing alot about Bamas Defence, so Penn will be really focusing on their defence as well. I cant see bama running the ball down Penns throat, but I do see a hell of a hard hitting struggle on both sides, defencivly ..this is Penns house and Bama will realy have to prove itself..I think you will see PennSt in a lot of 3rd and longs and that will be the difference as bama will pick off a few.... Bama 20-10

I have to agree with many of you...cant see Penn St putting up more than 10 points...this defence is really taking pride in itself....hell Kent state last week , when the regulars were in barely got past the line of scrimmage....I know it was only Kent St....But Bama had a lot of room to step it up a notch...which they will this week against Penn St. |

Yes ..south west player..the first half is whats good...hell ALABAMA put up 21 first quarter on Kent st....As a head Coach you have to turn your dogs loose because that is what they sweat and bleed for during the doubble days in the heat....

Oregon States freshman wonder Malcolm Agnew..who ran for some 200+ yards this weekend against Sacremento State heArd his hamstring "POP" in practice today, he said it happen in high school and didnt think it was a big deal , although from what I HEAR he was favoring it alot in practice much of the day, Riley the Coach for OSU didnt comment.....I had a slight tweak in my hamsting in JR college and it bothered me for approx 3 weeks...and that was with 2 weeks rest....just a heads up.'

What I can tell you is Arazona teams are very well adjusted to HEAT....this time of year..meanning they will not wear out so easily as many team do this early in the year.

Another way of looking att his is Wisconsin beat the piss out of UNLV 51-10..then UNLV made a ...who gives a shit TD....AND many lost thier 35 point spread 51-17....Arkansas will have TROY and Alabama up the next 2 weeks after so I dont think Arkansas would want to take to much notice ...what Vegas has to say ...as to push their starters in this heat against lower teams....Just my opinion

this is my personal take on a game like this....6-5 345+O-linemen that are the cornerstone of a offence that runs like Wisky does...tend to wear out early in the season.....and the Coaches know this....it is tough to push around dead weight for 3 or 4 quarters let alone pushing out of the way eight that is trying to go over you under you etc....The coach for whisky ..with a good lead will pull these big guys for fear of injury....UNLV WILL NOT WIN nor can they, but one must remember UNLV will be in great shape just being where they are from and they do have some good players...and this could combine for some easy scores late in the game..thus I will not take this game for this reason.

Personaly I feel Whisky wants to prove a point, dont forget the last time they were watched by the Nation they lost to TCU....and they want to get that taste out of their mouth, plus the fact the BCS want you to win big,,and with new personal and at home....they want to prove it.....Whisky is one team that can run up the score by just craming the call down your throat......not just throwing it!

Hi guys I live in Oregon and here is the lasest article.....Harris' suspension was for driving for 118 miles per hour with a suspended license. Harris will miss at least Oregon's huge season-opening game against LSU, and Kelly isn't saying when he'll be back after that. Who knows what Kelly will decide, but since Harris is practicing with the team, it looks like Harris will be back sooner rather than later, but it's a shame for Ducks fans that Oregon's first 2011 game is against one of the best teams in the country.......
Luckily for the Ducks, the LSU passing offense was dreadful in 2010, and I’m going to go out on a limb and say that it won’t be a well-oiled machine right out of the gate in the first game of the season. |
