OK, so the post won’t show what’s been cut and pasted from the forum. What I’ve been trying to say is I have the Under 24.5 in first half, but I suspect the game may open up in the 2nd half. Anyone else like the Over second half?

 I did the first half Under 24.5, which looks good. Next question, does the game open up in 2nd half, so that would be an Over?

I like it! My best “system” win was U Conn in March Madness. I just kept parlaying them (doubling up with winnings) and they just kept covering big spreads. Probably a once in a lifetime event.

The system wouldn’t have worked with last night’s Pro game. No points scored in the second half.

Offence needs more practice and is handicapped by a short week with the Thursday night games. I think you'll find far more unders on Thursday than on Monday, although both are prime time games.

This is a classic lament on the threads, (The Over is Dead) but often there's a scorefest in the second half, and half the eventual overs were predicted dead in the first half.  Tonight, I agree. The over is dead. But would you go over 17 2nd half?

My review of all the usual sources showed Philly the choice of most. Of course, so was Detroit on Monday…. Sometimes I think the contrarian play is the best policy. We used to say “Undies on Mondays” referring to the underdog, not the point total. On the other hand, I’ve read articles lately that some of the national books have big losses this season, because favorites have been covering more often, and favorites are what the public likes to bet. Good luck, and don’t get carried away with the live betting!

So many 1st quarters are tied 3-3 or 7-7 that I bought the half point.

This has been the most amazing run I've seen on Covers. I make it six straight! One could have parlayed $100 into $3,200. But one caution, with all respect to Asiangamblez, the odds of winning a football bet are close to 50%. At some point, and I've seen it often, the hot hand inevitably gets cold and things "return to the mean," which is a fancy way of saying things average out. So my one caution to my gambling brothers (and sisters) is don't put it all on the next pick, or the pick after that. You don't want that inevitable loss to wipe out your bankroll. Don't get me wrong, Asiangamblez is hot, hot, hot, and following him has pulled me out of a funk. I'm grateful and I thank him. But the dude is not going to make every pick from here on out. Don't get wiped out by the first loss. Bankroll discipline!

The over was touted by everyone from Gruden to Morril. That’s based on recent history and two offenses that are much better than the defenses. Then it gets bid up by the public, which seems to favor overs despite a Thursday jinx. They say it ain’t over ‘til it’s over, but the over can get covered before it’s over. Still within range.

As announced, Tampa should have gone for 2. Probably would have made it. Just shows to go you.
