Bears over -28 (-125)
Giants have yet to hold an opponent under 31. Like the bears here. |

I guess I'm not so wrong to worry about them. eh?

The Texans looked shaky in the first half against the Chargers. Who is the real Texan team?

I know the Ravens should beat Cleveland, but I don't trust their team yet. While they are struggling to find a new identity, they are going to be susceptible to trap games. Hungry for their first home game and first win, they should get it here. I just don't feel confident.
I have Oakland up there, because I can't help the daringness of the pick. I probably will avoid that, though. I think Bears against Ponder-on-grass may be the way to go. Thanks guys.

Had a close one last week with Indy.
Can anyone help me with Week 2? There are some tempting ones, but I can't narrow it down. Looking at OAK, GB, CHI and CIN. All home teams either coming off losses or playing opponents with a lot of uncertainty.

Then with your real money, put 30 on the draw and 20 on the US. You will come out ahead no matter what the outcome.

It's funny, there hasn't been too much of a hub-bub about Gruden being in the booth this year. He's a great addition to MNF. He loves the game and more importantly KNOWS the game. Mike Greenberg had a great story about him last week. Watched Sunday football with him. He was very nice and friendly until 1 o'clock. Then he locked it down and started taking meticulous notes for the next 6 hours. That's the mark of a professional.
I guess for anyone to really take notice to a new announcer, you have to be terrible like Dan Fouts, Dennis Miller or Tony Kornheiser.

I don't get why this is up here. URI is a 1AA school. Are they doing lines for matches against B-league schools now?

When are the frickin Dolphins going to start John Beck? They are not making the playoffs. They are not even winning three games.
It's right to hold him out this game so you don't break any confidence he has, but if Lemon is ineffective, it'll be time to start him next week.

Sure why not? Remember two years ago on a Monday night? AJ Feely and the 2-and-whatever Dolphins won at +1000.
A game like this can get a really crappy team up for the kill. The Patriots can easily overlook them too. Division foes can always pose a threat. If the Olphins (I call them that because they have no D (get it?)) can hold the Pats in the 20s, their offense (which hasn't been too bad) might be able to make it interesting. |

I've seen a few comments about CC throwing two shitty starts in a row. He threw a terrible one in Boston, yeah, but he only allowed 3 to NY and turned it over to the bullpen with a lead. I wouldn't call that terrible. He did his job. With the Cleveland offense having some momentum lately and Boston's ineffectiveness at the plate, I see value in the underdog money.

I guess he was never the most slender of an athlete, but what happened to this man? He looks like Carl Winslow from Family Matters. While back at the studio, Cal Ripken looks like he can still play with the young guys.

Noonan, Pettitte's numbers are slightly skewed by his last start in Baltimore. It was his "tune-up" for the playoffs. He didn't exert himself at all. Just enough to keep warm. But regardless Carmona, does look the better recent pitcher.
