I'm at 9 weeks right now. $400 withdrawal. Still has not processed. Spoke with someone at the 8 week mark because that is their timeline on payout language. Gave me the run around robotic answer that they're working as fast as they can with the processor. I think it might have been "Shirley Thompson" or "Steve Jones" I was speaking to haha what a joke. This is a very poor business model on their end as they do not allow additional deposits when withdrawals are pending. Losing tons of business. Anyone experience getting valid checks at the 9-10 week mark? BloodyGloves- I think I had that same problem but it ended up being valid tracking days later. |

Also, I've read a couple places on this forum that book lines and be 1-2 hours? If true, does this pertain to the majority of books or just the very popular ones during prime time of the day? 1-2 hr book line seems unreal. I go during Sunday NFL all the time with no or little lines. Seems the books would accomodate and expect the crowds.

Doing a March Madness trip this year for the first time. I'm in Vegas about once per quarter so I don't need advice on where to stay or anything, but I was curious about two things... 1) What's the best timing to do the trip? We're only gunna do a 2 or 3 nighter cuz we'll die if we do more than that. My first thought was to drive out (we're from SoCal) late Wed night and return Saturday so we get both days of the field of 64. Any advice? Is Sat and Sun nearly as good when the field is 32? Are Thurs and Fri an absolute madhouse to the point where it's annoying? 2) What's the best "viewing party" to go to? I saw PH had one last year on their Mezzanine above the casino floor with TV's, all u can eat and drink, casino games, betting stations, etc. Comments appreciated. |

Does anyone know a spot that has a bottomless champagne brunch on Mondays? On-strip only. Thanks in advance.

Jags team total under 18. Jags have only scored over this number once, and it was only 20 against Cinci. MJD could have a decent night but I don't see them getting 3 TD's. I'm not understanding why this number is so high. I would expect their total to be around 14.5-16.5 and would still take under at that. Easy decision at 18 for me. 24-13 Bolts. SD will have a couple turnovers but Jax won't cash them in with a TD. |

these defenses are completely even - bama only looks better on paper cuz they didn't have to play Oregon!!! lsu slight offensive edge with qb and receiver matchups big homefield advantage for bama and I like they'll be more disciplined in the game, with less turnovers, but I think it's a toss up who wins this one. I'll take the team catching some points. LSU +5 for me. Think they make one or two very big plays on suprisingly aggressive play calls. LSU - 24 Bama - 23 |

I'm sure cut a check, and I'm sure he's legally obligated to pay taxes on it. Whether they take taxes out up-front, IDK, not an accountant or a book manager haha

I know this answer obviously depends on the amount you are playing but on average what would you receive from using a players card at the casino? I always forget to use mine while I'm playing or lose it or leave it at home. is it worth some effort to make sure you're using your card or is the only thing I'm missing out on is a free buffett once per year? Again, I'd consider myself an average scale player... $25 tables, couple hundred per sports bet (dont think it matters on sports), few hours of $1 video poker per trip. I go to Vegas about once per quarter for a weekend. |

luxor is not bad at all. I will say it kinda has a dark, closed-off vibe inside that's a little different than other casinos IMO. tram to great book at mandalay next door and to excalibur $5 blackjack. It's actually an easy indoor walk to both as it sits in between the two and is connected by long corridors. Luxor's book is average at very best (4 out of 10), but like I said, the Mandalay is next door and that book is amongst the best. I've stayed at Luxor once and I'd stay there again if it were a good deal. Usually you can step it up to MGM, Mandalay or Planet Hollywood (all which I would consider one tier up from Luxor) for not too much more and that's where I find myself these days. |

my opinion is that people do not like to bet hockey and baseball as much as, say, basketball and football because there is very little anticipation of a score. Hockey even more so than baseball. I think this is also one reason that these sports are simply less popular to watch. Football is so popular to bet because of the way the scoring happens. You cheer your team on as they get closer and closer to a score and this can take a while. In hockey it'll all happens in 5 seconds and it's over. As much as people like winning, people also gamble for the thrill of it and football delivers that rush better than anything else in sports.

Just heard of it. Is this just a toned-down, less crowded version of REHAB that takes place on Monday? Is it open in October still? What's it cost for non-hotel guests? |

yea, you'll only get a couple drinks comped and that's only at some books, not all. You won't get room, show, dining comps because anyone could easily place a couple opposite side bets for a few dimes, eat the juice but take the comp, and thus profit with no risk. Easy to understand why they won't comp anything material for a sports wager.

I've never seen a book where you can't eat at least right near the action. Most of them have delis or something similar just beyond the seating. PH has a great sandwich place and a Pink's hotdogs pretty much inside their book as of right now. Mandalay has a Canter's Deli, MGM has a good deli. I recommend you save yourself the time of getting Denny's to-go and grab a sandwich at one of these spots and enjoy your games. I've never seen anyone hassled about food in the book, but it might be a rule in some, not sure. Nevertheless, I wouldn't sweat it, I don't think they'll kick you out of the casino if it is!

How is it, specifically on Mondays? I hear that's the spot for Monday nights. Also hear it's a tad pricey in comparison to others. Also, whats the deal with them claiming dayclub/nightclub? Are they referring to their pool or something, or do they really have a true club going during the day? |

I'm sorry VG, I'm an idiot. I was talking about Marquee nightclub at Cosmopolitan. How is that on Monday nights? That's why I noted it was off the topic of my original post.

these two sandwich joints wouldn't even compete with one another. Subway throws together a 500 calorie, $5 sandwich in about 30 seconds and pumps customers thru their stores all day long.
Earl of Sandwich makes a gut bomb for $10 and calls your number when it's reeady after 5-10 minutes. However, it is very good! Subway doesn't even know Earl of Sandwich exists, maybe Quiznos haha |
