TCU burnt me last week. Actually, I burnt myself because I placed the wager on those fools. II sat 4 rows behind their bench. Kansas could have won that game and deserved too. They were fired up the entire game while TCU seemed nonchalant. Probably a little cocky and took Kansas for granted. The bitter cold looked like it bothered them more than KU but that is no excuse. Coach Patterson is a stud. He was bare handed the whole game-no gloves! TCU finally got serious and perked up the last 10 or so minutes when it looked like they might get beat. After they finally came around the small TCU crowd started chanting TCU!  TCU! TCU!  Before that-never heard a peep from them.They just did not look like a potential championship team. No enthusiasm or energy. which was in contrast to Kansas who stood side by side in one big long line most of the game.A good rushing team with big linemen will punish TCU. Their defense line was small. I was surprised, Offense was decent and no doubt if they were playing in a warm climate on turf they would have performed better. Turnovers hurt them and KU cashed in on those. Kansas just does not have any firepower but these guys play tough and do not quit.I think the Frogs are overrated rated. A top ten team perhaps but not #4 when they came into that game. If you want a good laugh look at their mascot. The ugliest I have ever seen. Remember the Star Trek movie a few years ago where Scotty was at that outpost and had that small creature pet/friend? That is the Horned Frog mascot. Google them you will laugh your ass off.

This week I like Oklahoma at home to cover -25 against Kansas. And tomorrow Buffalo -7 against lowly Kent State. Buffs are aiming for a bowl game.

Bad feeling about this game. Marshall might not be back 2nd half. Bears can't throw all game and expect to win against an Jets Defense who have a much better front line than the Niners. Shit, I should of took Jets. Bears Defense can't shut down pass. Geno more mobile than Cutler. And now the Jets have the ball. I am taking Jets second half. The hell with this ticket.

After the end of a long regular football season I ended up with + $2,878.21. I am playing with house money now. Save a little for March Madness. I always say, if you break even then you have won. If this ticket cashes then I am all over the 49ers to win the Super Bowl. SEE YOU IN MARCH.

One reason why you are a bad handicapper is when you said Oregon State has given up. Maybe you didn't know that the Oregon State players gave coach Riley a standing ovation in Hawaii. Coach Riley is loved  by his players and is a true players coach. Who did you talk to that said Oregon State has given up? Also, your lack of confidence is apparent since want Boise State and ML.

I like the Clips tonight. Kobe is out and Dwight Howard couldn't wait to get out of LA. Lakers will rely mainly on Nash and Gasol and the young free agents they brought in this year. Chemistry is going to be a big issue right out of the gate. Chris Paul shredded their defense last year in the 2 blow out games Clips had against Lakers.

The Clips hope Doc Rivers will be the push they need to get them a ring. I see the Clips making a statement here and showing the Lakers there is a new Sheriff in town. I also like the 3 point shooters they brought in. Reddick, Dudley and  Mullens. Darren Collison is a good backup for Chris Paul.

Better talent, coaching ,motivation prevail here. Clips would love nothing more than to jack up the Lakers in the Staples Center

Clippers -9

I like Louisville -20 1/2  South Florida has a young offense that has only scored 6 td's all season. They have been relying on  defense and turnovers. Louisville returning to Florida where they have many players from and where Coach Strong recruits heavily. Cards defense should keep the Bulls offense in check while they outscore them.

Boston College +7   BC has more to play for than 1-5 Tar Heels, whose run defense has been exposed severely. BC is playing more balanced and more physical under their new coach. They gave Clemson and FLA State a hard time. Coming off a bye week is always nice too.

Clemson -16 1/2  Clemson is too good a team to have a letdown against a Maryland team that is without their top 2 wide receivers. Clemson to get back on track after the FLA State embarrassment.
