I usually will play a new coach angle especially at ++ money.

I think that he is good for 1-2 years where there are personnel problems and lack of accountability in the locker room precisely because he will bench anyone. I mean last season Philly was by all thought as a bottom feeder and he got them close to the playoffs even losing Carter Hart. He has a short shelf life though and if you look at his records with failing teams in the first 2 seasons he seems to do pretty well IMO. I looked at the team this year and took the under 85.5 points thinking they maybe overachieved. They made a run up until before the deadline where they were in the race but have collapsed since. He ranks in the top 20 in NHL coaching wins and 2 time Jack Adams award winner. Like I said...I look at him as a short term ( 1 to 2 year ) plug in for organizations in disarray which seemed to work initially at Columbus and Philly. After 3 or so years...however...I will concede players seem to have problems with the hard nosed style. I would certainly take him behind the Bruins bench for next year. Certainly respect that we all don't agree on everything.

I think he did a pretty good job with a rudderless Flygirls team the last few years but after the deadline...things have really gone south. I mean...Philly is a dumpster fire right now. I would like to see the Bruins sign him to put a little bit of accountability back in a team that is totally lost. Of course...they need to fire Sweeney and Neely to stop the absolute destruction of the draft pool in which they have pretty much have no one NHL ready. Sad times in 2 great hockey cities.

Well...our thinking is the same so lets hope the outcome is. I took Montreal +135 ( tie no bet ) because I had the same concern about OT.
Good luck.

Just came back from a few days in Bonita Springs ( west coast ). 80s...beautiful. Landed at Logan Airport at 11:45 PM...got to my car at 12:15 AM and my battery was dead. Yeah...Florida takes the cake compared to Massghanistan. My Bruins are now officially the worst team in the NHL. How in God's name does Don Sweeney and Cameron Neely still have jobs. They have destroyed a once talented roster with putrid drafting.

Full disclosure as I am not a Bruins fan I can’t stand him and he was awful for Canada in 4 Nations but that is offside to trade your captain in conference. Might end up being good move but looks terrible for franchise, he has been loyal.
Not only in Conference but in division? Marchand is aging and can likely help the Panters in the playoffs. He is 37 and it is over with him in Boston as they cannot sign him with a total rebuild. But I somewhat agree. Would have shopped him to a Western Conference team.
Sweeney has destroyed this team with horrific drafting and awful free agent signings. They replace Bergeron with one of the softest players I have ever seen at Centre...Eilas Lindholm. A guy who in 63 games and on the 1st PP unit has just 32 points and is -6. Sweeney also mangled the goalie negotation with Swayman by jettisoning Ullmark before a deal was in place. And their young draft picks cannot play in the NHL. Neely one of my favorite Bruins players of all time but he and Sweeney need to be shown the door pronto.

Great for the kids though. I mean from New Orleans to Panama City...this could be the only time in their lives they see accumulating snow. |

Vegas is a turnaround game I believe. They just lost to the notes in OT and kind of makes it an immediate payback game??
They were snowboarding down the Ravenal Bridge over Charleston Harbor yesterday. Quite a sight.

OK weeble...that Sens game may be the kind of win that turns it around for you. I sat here and watched them score 2 with the goalie pulled to get to OT and then survive several Bruins chances in the extra session to get the W. Luckily I didnt get trapped with a B's play at + money. Good luck the rest of the way.

I put 2 units on their season total O77.5. They were mauled by injuries early but when they are healthy they can score. Caufield really breaking out. Its not easy at all to sweep the Florida trip not to mention grinding out late wins in Vegas and Denver. Cold weather up here my man but no snow on the ground although we did have a nice white Christmas.
