In terms of a an institution: The US Court System most prominently. (This whole affluenza fiasco as a recent example.) Which creates a domino effect that creates discrimination down the line. 

as for Corporations, of course there have been things such as the remarks made by the owner of Abercrombie and Fitch about who he wanted wearing his clothing or Walmart with the gender discrimination. 

I was more pointing to the big picture rather then just race (which is one of many issues).

At the end of the day, Sterling is like 80 something, Old school, Old money, plain and simple. The way he is has never been a secret, now everyone is acting so shocked. Too funny.

I agree it is such a small problem in terms of the big picture... there are FAR WORSE problems going on people!

Yes. Currently listening to Stephen A ranting on first take (about to change the channel he is giving me a headache). He is saying that the penalties should be implemented today.

He just runs his mouth way to much sometimes, especially when it comes to race. 

Does he not understand that the NBA is a large corp and Adam Silver is a lawyer. How can a private phone call exposed result in somebody telling him he has to give up his company.If the owners cumulatively push something, the process will speed up. 

But people forget the NBA is a company. CEO's can't be forced by law to give up their company due to making moderately racist remarks. 

Although I think he should sell while he can.

Lets start with this: Donald Sterling is the longest tenured owner in the NBA. He bought the Clippers 33 years ago for 12.5 Million and the franchise is worth approx. 575 Million dollars today. 

At the end of the day he is basically the head of a company that has increased tremendously in value (not due to anything special he has done, but due to the growth of the NBA cumulatively). People think he will be stripped of his ownership , or forced to sell. Most of this is due to the media frenzy, (even though people have known Donald Sterling to be like this for quite a while). 

But my question is: Why should this situation deserve so much air time, and media attention. There are so many corporations that have done way more repulsive things, and STILL DO to this very day!

I understand why it does, but this still really bothers me. I am not trying to sound unsympathetic to the clippers players/coaching staff (or anybody that works in the NBA). But the media is making this such a huge deal when there are such worse examples of discrimination that are going on. 

You can say its hypocritical because i'm only fueling to the attention by starting this thread, but it just really bothers me and I would like to hear others thoughts, and if they agree.

Scal... according to your last few write ups you've made it clear that the hawks and pistons really don't want to win. So going with that you say its fair to think that this game should go over 210 due to little defense or do you think the two have little correlation. 

I know you don't bet totals just curious what you think about the reasoning.
