Out of the 8 road games the Cowboys played this year, guess what the TOTAL FIRST QUARTER POINTS given up by the Cowboys were in ALL 8 GAMES???

Zero - Nada, 0, Nothing, Nil, Zippo - yep, not a single point in all 8 games combined. 

And thats before the Defense started really peaking.  Minnesota MUST get ahead of the Cowboys early and get their crowd hyped for 4 quarters  if they expect to win this.  They will NOT come from behind on the Cwoboys defense - Favre or no Favre.

I expect it to be a very long day for Vikings fans.  Sorry. 

Jets will cover the 9 since they match up well with SDs strengths.  The rest of the games will not be very competitive.   Big bets on Indy, Arizona (ML) and Dallas (ML) this week.

Hype up the wish list all you want about how the other teams will turn it around or fix their weaknesses, but these picks are no brainers.  The matchups are hugely one-sided.

Not sure if this was a serious post or not given the Vikings are limping into the playoffs.   Bank on a closer game only cause its in Minn.  Dallas' pash rush is better than Carolina's and Favre was on his back all game. 

You cant just flip a switch and suddenly the Vike's D gets better or AP starts getting massive yards as the offensive line suddenly gets their act straight. 

Bet on the team that is peaking in week 18 not week 8.  The Vikes aint it.

Look, im not saying they cant get this game to 57 points, but we've seen this story before.  Its not like the Saints have been scoring at will lately.  They also had basically 3 weeks off.  Zona is coming off a huge win and has a short week.  Do you think this really sets up for mega scoring?

I just think 57 points is a "prove it" number.  Thats a 30-27 game or 40-17 game.  Not saying it cant happen, just saying its a very fat number even for these teams. 

Under is the play.

Saints at home against Arizona's D that just gave up 45 points.  Arizona just scored 51 on the #2 Defense.  I love the bloated Over total in this game.

Bet the under and make em prove the points.  57 is just too high.

Philly will start fast in 1Q and I expect DeShawn Jackson to finally make a big play TD (he's due) but the Cowboys are just too balanced right now.   Another very easy win.

Dallas 31-13.

Philly only wins with big plays, not consistent long drives with lots of 3rd down conversions.  Thats why they lost the first game against Dallas. Dallas does not give up the big play. 

Dallas' D is playing even better than they were then and they are full strength.  Philly D is flaky.  17 points to Denver in the 4Q?  Philly lost their starting center and now has Ratliff to cover with a backup?  Also Dallas has the intangible after last years loss in Philly. 

Romo 20 Tds, 4 INTs last 11 games.  

Dallas by 10+.   

Funny, last time he play the Cowboys (in Philly) he only had 2 catches and 21 yards.  Better prepare yourself for a long weekend.
