I heard of this and yes, of course I had to read the article, but I have purposefully avoided all media on him. There is no understanding this type of thing. It happens across the world quite often. It sucks but there is no point putting energy into it. If the coverage has played out as you write, I agree that is pretty diseased, but the media itself is pretty much an evil entity--if it bleeds it leads, distort to entertain--so nothing they do in the negative surprises me anymore.

btw I think he is an fool for using SNF as the vehicle for his political opinion. People watch sports to escape from day to day drudgery, the nightmare side of life and politics, so why ruin it for them? Well if Bob's point was that he killed her with a gun... is his solution banning ALL guns to citizens? Does he really think this government is totally good? garbage, we're just now finding out what they have done to their own citizens in the 60s.... so if we lose our gun rights the only ones who will have them are cops working for what could easily be construed as a corrupt government and the criminals. My last rant of 2012:

Bottom fell out for Julia. She only had one bad set last week vs a slicer, now another will feel like I must have gotten lucky last week if she wants to bow out like this. ave a massive bet on her today in a live parlay and if she burns it so be it. I will still value her as a dog in general, but maybe it is same old same old afterall for this season, because other than her mental, there is no excuse, 2 days off after final, easy win, another day off, you cant blame health or fatigue for this one, and she looks shot this first set, but I think she comes back to win in three.

I'm gonna retire my season if she loses. I'm too crazy to play this sport right now. Money management is my demon, and Julia is dancing with it right now. Also I need live betting so badly because I can see when a fave like this is bottling it so quick, and always wish I could have bought out.

So I'll give it one more go once I can find a way to live bet because that's my only real chance at profit. I really wish I knew someone who could hook me up on that and fucking hate that Americans cant live bet like the Europeans. Drives me insane really, makes me hate my own country some that we let them do this shit to us without protest. Peace.

Please don't post in this thread if you can help yourself, I wanna see how long it can go untouched. We all know when Julia is in the finals this puppy will be getting action. Until then, I like it like this, but I wanted to share what I thought were some solid plays for those who wanted some action. Just take them and run cuz I am hot right now. 

Julia's stats today vs a solid returner in Solar:

64% first serves in,

25/27 first serve points won for a 93% conversion rate.

Solid enough on second serve too, winning 8/15, but that first serve stat tells me everything. 9 aces in such a short match is very telling too, and only one double fault which she hit the second game, so pretty much a faultless serving display from one of the few true power servers on the WTA.

I'm not just high cuz I am a fan, I was only a fan cuz of her potential and now it is cashing in.

btw I am real high on Schvedova this week too. She just raped Pavly as a mere -115 and that line alone tells me she will be very underrated this week. I think she is a threat to hoist the Kremlin Cup. I am gonna make this my picks thread too but it will mainly be a Julia support thread from me.

The money train called Julia Goerges on indoor hard keeps on chugging. Let's pray Roberta Vinci holds her end of the deal up to set up and epic final rematch clash. I remember years ago when they met in the finals of an indoor hardcourt event and Vinci won in two VERY tight sets. Roberta was very scared of Julia and even though she played great (Julia had medical timeout btw) you could tell by the look in her eyes that she knew it was more up to Julia than her. Now a few years later and with Julia a mental rock she will gain revenge for that lost final, and losing it will only add to her value, along with Viinci being the higher seed.

They are gonna favor Julia literally every round this tournament and I say she is gonna cash them all, an the value is to be found in rolling over on her. Today she was -470 and bet down to -410 because of her fluke h2h vs Solar and people not realizing she really has turned the corner. Well she just won 6-2 6-1. I think she is gonna be value all week. The books and especially public are slow to catch onto this. Remember when Kerber started tearing it up? She had one on a 6 week fitness course and it changed everything and the books and public were slow and she cashed tons of value tickets. Now Julia has upped her mental game, and is also coming in much more which is great to see, and they will be even more slow on her given her history.

But she is only 23!

When I made my Stuttgart play of year on her last year I told you she would be a star. She has not achieved that yet but last week she showed again the same form I saw in Bad Gastein and Stuttgart, minus that first set vs Flipper, and I think she is ready to achieve her full potential VERY shortly. She is hoisting a slam trophy one day, people, and all you need to understand my optimism is to watch her highlight from Stugart,her semifinal and final in Bad Gastein and her final vs Vika from down 0-5 in second set to see what I am talking about. At her best (I know it was rare to see) I have not seen a talent like her ever and I am usually good at seeing these things. I am very very high on her now.

I think fatigue is literally the only thing that would stop her in her form and given this draw, and it should hit late in the week if it does and be noticeable through double faults, but I think she is fit and have not yet seen her tired. I have her today for 15 units in a live parlay (that I got lucky as sin to hit the other parts of) and really hope she can put Silver to bed in a revenge match. Then I'll roll it over on her from here. I really love her form and think she will still be underrated this week since she did not take that second set vs Vika like she probably should have. That alone would have robbed her of a ton of value.

Come on Julia please no let down, no "same old same old" you showed great mental strength last week all week and I think you turned the corner and am kamikaze enough to bet hard on it. Peace.

if you just go by scoreboard you might wanna take MM next round but i tried my best to warn you. given the nature opponent I think the first set tells us more than the second two. if the odds are good im very inclined to chase this one but im not emotional so we will see what line they put up. have a nice day guys, peace.

first set Hatimes and holds easy every time. he was dominating so bater choking away the entire s the match by 12 points with a higher % won behind first and second serve. and now he is completely gone. i was not even counting my money after first set cuz i know his mental but to lose it like this was ridiculous

what are you disagreeing based on? scor20 units on Milos in a parlay. I watche tired. Tell me how often he will double fault three times in one game? multiple times in tiebreak? how often will he have over 20 UEs first set and win? Milos sucked last week, he was dead tired. That is why I faded him hard vs Baggy with a huge writeup on it in here and it did cash as a +200, and the fact that Baggy made it so hard showed me his form was shit too, so it was an easy play on Tsonga after that.

Sticking with my opinion on MM. It was amazingly awful from him last week and all the stats indicate that is probably his usual level. challenger player. 55% chance for Haase jsutifies this much juice and i think afte that first set he showdhe had that shot--then bottled it. so i am not feeling bad about this, just venting, but please dont spread the lie that Matosevic is anything but a dogshit player please. At least not if you didnt actually watch the match like I did. scoreboard can be very deceiving.

I bet Haase tanked over a line call, that is my guess. He is defintely a funny guy and I doubt I can ever bet him again after this, amazingly horrible from him and now he is tanking entirely.

took Milos toa  tiebreak last week which is why I figure the line was like this, now if he beats Haase he raises his stock even more. I will wait until he meets a top 50 player with heart and consistency and fade him again. Sucks to even see him get through to the second round, I hope it doesnt happen. At least with Robin there is an outside shot he would challenge the top seeds, with MM he would be too nervous and not enough game and get blown out. IMO of course.
