@IntenseOperator You are right on. The ownership is a disgrace. |

Over the past 30 years, the Bears are 13-46 against GB. That works out to the Bears winning 22% of the games played. It's actually sickening. Why they call this a rivalry is beyond me. I'll be pulling for the Bears, but I bet GB at -5.5@-114.

It was a bad hire in the first place. Some of the problems with this team rest with the players. Nate Davis pretending his back hurts, Moore quiting on his teammates, and Stevenson's actions during the hail Mary are indicative of a team in free fall.

Last November, the Bears beat the Panthers 16-13 with their backup QB. They held Carolina to 43 rushing yards. Both teams punted six times. In four games this year, the Panthers have given up 129 points. The panthers secondary is suspect, their pass rush is weak and two LB's are out. Dolton is better than Bryce, but he should face some resistance today. Bears have won their last seven home games and I expect it to be eight after today. Two bets: Bears -4@-109 Bears TT O 22.5@-109

The problem with the Bears is their coaching staff. Eberlose is 11-26 as the HC. Last year the Bears were able to run the ball. Now, they stack the box and the OC hasn't made effective use of the audible. The Rams defense isn't that good and the offense is banged up. The Bears have a decent shot to win this game. Manage the ball/clock and keep the defense off the field. I took the Bears -3 @-108. BOL

@Me_Greatness_Me No, the opposite. SF and Texas are playing in Minnesota the next two weeks, yet the line difference is only 1.5. Both as favorites. Bears would probably be dogs playing in Minnesota.

The Bears were fortunate to win last week. Their defense is solid, however the interior of the OL was bullied most of the game. The RG is soft and will be forced to play today. SF is giving the Vikings 5 points today yet the look ahead for next week has Texas as a 3.5 point favorite in Minnesota. Seems to say a lot about the books. In order for the Bears to keep it relatively close, they will need to run the ball and challenge the secondary with some deep outs. Stroud is the real deal and the Bears are just an average team right now. Took Texans at -6 @ -114. BOL |

The CWS are chasing the Mets 1962 record of 40-120. At 33-112 with 17 games remaining, it looks like the Southside could set the MLB record in futility. Without the remaining games, the NYM would be stuck with this dubious record. Time to pass this honor on to the worst owner in baseball.

Might be the greatest all around ballplayer of all time. Did see him play at Wrigley at the tail end of his remarkable career. RIP

Pirates ML@+102 Thought Pittsburgh would be slight favorite with Hendricks starting. Morel banged up his knee yesterday and Wisdom may be playing 1B. Lean over 8 at -120. BOL

It was said that Jim McMahon was a freak when the Bears drafted him, so who cares that QW paints his nails? Can he pass the ball from the pocket or release it quickly with accuracy? Can he drive the ball down the field in the 4th quarter to lead the team to victory? We will see. Good luck kid. JF was 10-28 as a starter. Time to move on.

So true. Just look at the Soldier Field fiasco. It cost $632 million to renovate the stadium in 2002 and the taxpayer's are still on the hook for almost the entire amount 20 years later. All of the bond payments went to interest with the outstanding principal remaining the same. Cubs need to resign Bellinger.
