I'm not finding an over/under here. Is anyone seeing one?
Does anyone think of Lucas as a pure KO puncher with his overall record against world-class opponents? Has he ever faced a guy like Garcia, who can pound guys as they come in. Can't wait for it. Who are you picking? |

As we can see, odds are around -270 that Mayweather wins a decision, with the over/under about -320 favoring over 11 and a half rounds. BUT...one of my youtube viewers has stated that Carlos Slim, listed by Forbes as the richest man in the world since 2010, has sponsored Canelo through a monopoly called Telmex.
This engenders the question, can Canelo lose a decision, and does it make any sense for anyone to lay any more money down on Floyd? If not, are we to expect a late odds surge on Canelo which would drastically alter the line? |

Eric, I know how crazy it was to lay that much on a fighter who works out at McDonalds, but his opponent seemed outmatched, so I took the -2300, which paid a bit.
Do you believe Deontay Wilder can bring more to the table than just a big right hand? |

-2300 on Solis against the Turk? Really expensive! Took it, though.
Did any of you take on these crazy odds? |

Former Cuban Olympic champ Odlianer Solis is taking on one Yakup Saglam from Turkey. Figured it was really low risk at -2300.
Has anyone seen Solis lately. I hope his knee doesn't give out the way it did against Vitali. |

Deontay Wilder is a hot US heavyweight prospect, and is -1175 in his jump up in class against Siarhei Liakhovich. Siarhei has lost 2 of his last 3, but is still a jump up.

Floyd isn't even going to try to ko Canelo

Do you see a better number, or anticipate getting under -220 by fight time?

On the 22nd, Seth Mitchell is seeking revenge against Johnathon Banks, who stopped him in 2 late-last year. Banks is -110 to -120. Do you see value in picking up Banks, or can Mitchell be that much better coming off a big loss?

Erislandy Lara-Alfredo Angulo:
It is hard not to pay the extra (-460) on Lara if you watch clips of the 2, who are scheduled for a 12-rounder in California on the 8th. Angulo has a good, if not great, wallop. His style is as an orthodox puncher without speed. He is promoted by Golden Boy, so normally he wins any decision in California. However, the powerful Al Haymon represents Lara, so Erislandy stands a chance on the cards. Lara will control most of the bout, and knows enough not to trade with the powerful Mecican. Lara should carry the day for a convincing win. |

Thrilled that Floyd isn't afraid of Canelo.
The UK is surging with Mayweather 'money' (forgive the bad pun). Do you see this closing as less than -300 on Floyd? C'mon you sharpies, do you see the catch-weight making a difference in the rehydration schedule? |

Froch is -250, though he lost to Mikkel a couple of years ago.
Do you believe Froch can lose a decision in his back yard? |

Matthysse And Peterson are both Golden Boy Fighters. The 91/2 over/under is utterly unpredictable. The one Mayweather wants as a candidate for a fight should get the decision, but he hasn't openly spoken about Matthysse at all.
What we do know is that Floyd is probably going to duck Canelo. Does anyone believe Mosley can sustain enough offense to win a 12 round decision? |

Will Mayweather tap Lamont Peterson as next on dance card if he gets by Lucas Matthsse?
If so, bet the line starts as -800 on Floyd, minimally. What do you think? |

At least he keeps his hands in a defensive position, which gives him a bit of margin for receding reflexes. Guerrero is a hard case. I'm glad he's starting his final 6 with a real challenge.
This has been an interesting thread. Floyd acts like a teenager out of the ring, and prepares for bouts like a zealot. I'm looking forward to tonight. |

Good point. Can his wheels keep him in the fight that long? That is the question.
Molina just sort of jogs into guys with steady pressure. He is peaking, and undefeated with 5 losses (no legitimate losses). He is hungry, but Cory has experience and saavy. Good luck on the -130 |

Felix Sturm-Sam Soliman odds top -800 for Sturm.
Official pick: "Sam throws more punches than anyone, but if Sturm isn't completely shot, he will be able to jab Sam off." Risk level is low. |

Hopkins money may come in late. If B-hop gets bumped off-balance, or Cloud even touches the back of his skull, Hopkins may flop to the canvas and collect his purse on a no-decision.
Cloud may indeed be a bigger version of Jeff Lacy, but he may also be the next iron man of boxing. Like many of you, I am wagering on the former assumption. |

Maybe JerseyBoy is right. I don't see how, but there were people swearing Douglas couldn't beat Tyson.
He may not be a fool at all. JerseyBoy, make your case. Obviously we want to hear something that makes sense. You started this, so here's your chance. Thrill us with your argument. |

Wouldn't it be awful if Marquez got caught on PED's now?
Anyway, the title for this thread is sensationalistic, like a National Enquirer cover. I'm surprised that dozens of people haven't checked it out today. There still is time. That there isn't evidence backing the allegationof the title isn't the point just now. If you can manufacture them daily you can triangulate a demographic, and get paid for them. |
