Serbia will definitely be rotating many players as they have nothing to play for. They know Portugal will destroy Macedonia so Serbia has no motivation for this one. And so Spain "may" rest a couple guys and be "forced" to play the likes of Williams, Suarez, Ceballos, Gaya, Grimaldo (these guys are all u21 super stars). So sure, maybe Spain only wins by a single goal. But these young guys are well rested and hungry to destroy every team that they come into contact with. I expect you won't see too much rotation with Spain, that is not how Spain plays these tournaments. They will to continue building that team chemistry all the way until the final. And those that do come into play, they will not miss a beat.

You keep talking about the ESPN leading the sheep and public perception leading people to making poor choices. And you are correct, you are just on the wrong side which is understandable considering your background. Don't you think the odds makes knew all of this public perception stuff when making the spread for this game? Throwing a -6 right from the get go, right after Clemson just destroyed Ohio State? And now a week later, everyone and their mother is on Clemson plus the points, Clemson money line etc.... Public perception is that it is way too many points and Clemson is going to cover easily. So easy right? That is the public perception, the odds makers know it and that is why they threw out Clemson + almost a touchdown. Because if it was Alabama -1 80% of the bets would be on them and they would not make any money. But to make money, they had to throw out Clemson plus a lot of points to reel in people like you. I am not hating on anyone in this thread, just saying you are absolutely right about public perception. You are just on the wrong side. Best of luck with your plays.

Not saying the over is a bad play but Sevilla will advance with a 2-0 win so they do not need at least three goals, a 2-0 win would suit them just fine.

AM/Barca 2H over 1.5
Safe to say Atletico HAS to press forward even more now. Should open up plenty of space for Barca to take advantage. Two goals should be pretty easy this 2H |

Am I the only one loving the overs in both Holland Cup games today?

Thats why I said game 7 is a more in play because it would be his normal "side session" throwing day anyways. They have more than enough ammo in the bullpen for tonight and if the bullpen gets stretched tonight it means that Peavy got lit up early and they are losing so no need to pitch MadBum anyways. 0% chance he pitches tonight, 25% chance he pitches in game 7. The reality is they just dont need him. I doubt you see Bochy overuse his bullpen tonight in a loss so if they lose and there is a game 7 the back end of the bullpen will more than likely be fresh and no need for Bum

Also, Bumgarner has not thrown a side sessions because he finished pitching 117 pitches 41 hours ago.... Side sessions dont come until 72 hours+ of not pitching. Yes, it takes the body that long to recover after throwing that many pitches.

Of course they will treat this as a game 7 as they should. They have plenty of arms in the bullpen that are better than a fatigued Bumgarner. Bumarner at 70% is not better than Casilla, Romo, Affeldt, Lopez, Strickland and Petit. Hell, Bumgarner at 90% is not better than those guys. Just look at the stats. The Giants do not need him and that is why you wont see him. The Giants bullpen is not the problem

Zero chance Bumgarner pitches a single pitch in game six 48 hours after throwing 117 pitches. Zero chance Bumgarner starts game seven. Maybe he could go an inning in game 7, maybe.. But I doubt San Fran will risk injuring their best player when their bullpen is already pretty lights out.

Uruguay on the road, fielding a crap lineup, in a meaningless game. Best of luck

Hookem, I am a new hockey fan and was wondering if teams are as inconsistent early in the season as they are in other sports? For instance in football and soccer I usually like to give teams at least two weeks to see who they are. I see you are staying away from some of the big favorites, is that because its early in the season and you cannot trust them yet? More upsets early in the season I guess?

No mention of Bayern? Comfortable home win for them?
