What a bunch of reactionary drivel in this discussion. Being rich means you can't be disgusted by the society around you? It is refreshing that an athlete IS disgusted in an open fashion. Oh lord, he took a knee to protest police brutality. What a traitor! You guys talk about SJWs a lot, which is very humorous. That such a tepid action draws you guys so far offside is telling. Then, the inevitable misogyny occurs with the "stupid girlfriend" pablum. And this is a gambling forum! What was once such a rebellious activity is now consumed by social reaction of the highest order. Hail conformity! Hail the status quo! Hail authority! Hail the NFL. I'd hang with Kaepernick any day over this garbage.

Why the vitriol for Katy Perry? Sure, what she said was a cliche but at least it was compassionate. A lot better than spewing anti-muslim ignorance all over the place. Jihad is fomented by the Gulf monarchy governments and pushed by fearful fundamentalist clerics all over the Middle East and beyond. We all just saw Trump celebrating with the Saudi fundamentalist government after they did their weapons deal. But yeah, Katy Perry is the real problem.

There just setting it up for the front door cover! Why do people even go to these games? Blowout city every night. And what's up with the noise pollution? It's like being at a bad nightclub.

Macron will most likely win pretty comfortably. The National Front is a pariah to most French citizens as it should be. Macron is a dreadful centrist, neoliberal. This is what the French Revolution led to?

I tried to watch ESPN for the first time in about 5 years last week. The first show I had the pleasure of watching was SportsNation. I'm 30 years old and this felt like a show I would of watched when I was 9. This show seemed like a sports version of America's Funniest home videos. Cheesy and fatuous.
Next up was Highly Questionable. This show consists of more "funny" videos with an old man in the middle who likes to show his stomach a lot. There was about 1 minute of commentary on sports. Who is this show for? Afterwards was the terrible back to back programs of Around the Horn and PTI. Around the Horn is a game show for some reason. I would rather just have these people sit around a table like PTI and discuss the popular topics of the day. Annoying newspaper columnists fill this show. PTI has not innovated at all since it began. Tony Kornheiser isn't funny and Mike Wilbon has really bad takes. I ended up skipping the afternoon SportsCenter and checking out the night one with Scott Van Pelt. Van Pelt is actually really good. He has a charming quality to him that was welcoming after the afternoon shows that I watched. The show was basically filled with a bunch of guests and analysts talking about basketball for an hour. If the show was just Van Pelt commenting it would be great, but that wasn't how it went. In conclusion, ESPN is for 7 year olds. They have some really good talent but it all gets overshadowed by the nonsense they are forced to talk about. Thankfully the internet exists.

The U.S. should probably stay out of Syria judging by how their last 10 or so humanitarian wars have gone. Trump said he was going to go after ISIS and Jihadis, but the MIC calls and "political reality" sets in. The fact that John McCain, Lindsay Graham, and Hillary Clinton are so giddy after this attack is distressing. Let Syrians decide what their future looks like.

They were probably on the right side. North Carolina shot 4-27 from 3 point range and still won. Really weird game.

When did Vegas become this consumer tourist trap? Vegas seemed much more interesting in the past, but when did it start turning into this cheesy monstrosity?

A lot of wusses in here about women getting paid more money. How can society survive this conundrum? The FEMINAZIS are taking over! SJWs are ruining the world! Go work out or something. Find something better to be mad about.

A Coca Cola tastes pretty good after an intense workout too.

Gatorade is bad for you too. I guess a tap water or walnut commercial isn't as profitable. Gatorade needs to go away.

Why does the clock keep running after made baskets late in the game? I've seen times where 8-10 seconds run off the clock with 1-2 minutes left in a game. Seems like they would of done something about this by now.

I can't help but get the feeling that the majority of this forum are voracious readers of The Daily Stormer and Return of Kings. All the talk of testosterone and Alpha reek of insecurity. Good thing most people don't actually talk like this in public.
