Look for good "situations" and "spots". The past 3 prime time games we have had 3 home underdogs. New Orleans had not won a game,Drew Brees was one TD away from the record and the coach was in the building. If NO didnt need a win there then they never would.
Next we have the Jets. All kinds of criticism and people calling for Ryans job. They had been blown out the last few games and Monday night at home is the perfect spot for them to overachieve and give the best team in the NFL a run for their money. The titans suck. I think they are the second worst team in the NFL. They have been blown out a lot this year. But people didn't see that all of these blowouts have been on the road. Their one home game at the beginning of the season they won. So coming home after a long trip, prime time game, ready to prove themselves against a bad travelling and over rated steelers team. Was a excellent spot to back them. My point is just because one team is way better then the other, doesn't mean anything. Look for signs of when a team will come to play, or wont. |

Honestly, Its the last 3 primetime games. NO,JETS and now TEN. All of them home dogs. ALL of them needed to come out strong due to their struggles.

I think the total is good. But Tenn can win the game by more then 7.

The Steelers really grind out their scoring drives. Lots of time off the clock. The Titans just cannot score and even though it doesnt work will still try and run the ball. This game has the potential to become a snooze fest. Lots of punting and FG's. The under is the play.

Well here is why I would bet the Jets
They are at a ALL TIME low right now. Embarrassed by last weeks performance. There really is not a way you could go much lower. Then you think about who Houston has there 4 wins against. Ten,Jac,Mia and Denver. Besides Denver who is a slightly above average team, Houston has played the bottom of the barrel and has flown under the radar in terms of people remembering who they played. Meanwhile people just know they smoked their opponent. I wonder why? Cause they all sucked. Meanwhile the Jets have faced Buf,Pit,Mia and San Fran which is a big difference between the quality of opponents. Also, this game is a do or die for the Jets. They now have to prove to themselves and the world that they can compete with any team in the NFL. This is MNF at home, considering their situation this is their superbowl. Houston's point of view is different. Since they first looked at their schedule their eyes went right to their week 6-7 opponents, which are their real first test. The right side is on the NYJ. But the issue is do you have the balls to bet it? |

Naw it was just a rush line. When I had the game capped I had him for over 100. Had GB not had the ball the entire 4th quarter it would of it. Plus those 3 SEA penalties on 3rd down didnt help. Not mad, I know I was on the right side. Just bad luck

Long time lurker and occasional poster. I never really post picks but I figured why not start. My record has left me in the money this year but I havn't posted any picks so it really doesnt matter. However this last Thursday night game I was one of the few who hit on the under. Here are this weeks picks. If anyone wants a explanation I can give one. Good Luck!
TB +8 PIT -3.5 KC @ NO UNDER 52.5 HOU @ DEN OVER 44 |

Injuries at RB and WR are not big deals to me. However QB and any O-Line injuries I pay more attention to.

Coward is probably one of the only guys I listen to when it comes to making picks. I enjoy the follow-up he does with RJ Bell to see what the sharps think of his choices.

I think its safe to say the 13 point middle will be much more profitable. I look forward to seeing what happens on Saturday and Sunday with it.
