replied to 2013 MLB, NHL, NBA and NCAA Plays... in Fantasy Sports For any guys that were interested in the playoff pool...I'm sorry to say that I will be putting it on hold....I haven't had good responses from people I was counting on to get more players and right now it wouldn't be worth it to set up a pool, I now see what Philly and Manram go through when trying to set up a big pool type game and no one responds or makes it difficult to gauge the amount of players willing to participate...it's deffinatly a thankless job with no real benifit to the comish who has to do the leg work to get things running smooth, I'm disappointed and it makes me happy that we at least have a "core group" of guys who we am count on year to year to make our leagues fun and worthwhile....sorry once again to anyone who was hoping to participate. I had so much hype going into this season, and it seems like the Toronto media really made this team out to be HUGE. Was the hype just as big in the US, or was it just a local thing? Anyways this team has to figure something out and quick!!! Really hoping dickey and morrow can get back to the 1-2 punch that they need to be and big E needs to hit a HR and hopefully that opens the flood gates for him....I'm getting worried that Toronto is destined to be "jinx" for sports for many years to come...@USC you getting ready for some playoff hockey finally? replied to 2013 Covers Baseball League Thread #1 in Fantasy Sports Hey guys, doing a h2h points league draft tomorrow with a bunch of friends...I have never done a points baseball before...I have a handle on our type of league, but what changes will there be for a points league? So players stay somewhat similar to there projected value based on our scoring style? If anyone has experience with this style, any tips or advice would be great....there are tons of places to make points (too many if you ask me) but all the typical stat points are there (won't list the whole thing) thanks for any advice in advance.
