Two fumbles lost have killed the Hoosiers at this point. If they can stop Mendenhal in the 2nd Half, they can make a game of it. Still only a 2 TD game.

It means BYU is getting pounded. The flyboys are playin tough right now, but...they usually get throttled when they travel to BYU. And, you've got to think that the Cougs will be fired up after their poor performance last week. |

ZonaCats - UGA needs to be less conservative on offense before I can back them. Michigan has no speed in the secondary, and Mallet will be starting at QB. ND sucks. Kentucky is facing their toughest defense yet. Iowa lost to Iowa St last week (IOWA FRICKIN STATE!). The only one in that list that I'm still considering is UConn (though it is a big revenge game for PITT).
GL today bro!

As you can see, currently 84% on Oklahoma. Like I said in my original post, I wouldn't be surprised if the Sooners crush Tulsa. But, I also know that these kind of in-state rivalry games have a different meaning to the lesser school (Tulsa). They compete for the same athletes and for the state bragging rights. Plus, When I first started betting football, I didn't know what a back door cover was...I quickly learned...the hard way!!! I see this game starting off with Oklahoma having some sustained drives down the field ending in touchdowns and should be up by 35-10 0r 35-14. Since this isn't a conference game and there is a conference game for OK next on the schedule, I can see the coach start to rotate in the second and third stringers. Then with the no-huddle offense that Tulsa runs, they will do the "back door cover shuffle" I don't think that Oklahoma is in danger of losing this game, I just question whether the coaches will keep the hammer down for 60 minutes and whether Oklahoma's defense can shut down Tulsa's offense enough to cover the spread. I love the debate and both sides make great arguments as to why they think their side will cover the spread. There has just been some crazy games already played this year and more to come and don't be surprised if Tulsa comes in under the number. Awesome post bro! You make some excellent points, and I agree with a few of them. However, I also know Bob Stoops and his coaching style a great deal. Last week, against Utah State, Stoops didn't pull Bradford out of the game until the middle of the 3rd Quarter when they were up 54-3. That game wasn't a nationally televised Friday Nighter either. In a game like this, Stoops knows that his team needs to score as much as possible, because Tulsa does have the potential to score points. I don't see him taking his foot off the gas, unless it's a score similar to the Utah State game. The OU football team will have a chip on its shoulder until a showdown with a legit contender happens. As long as the OU defense doesn't give up more than 2-3 TDs, I see no reason the Sooners shouldn't cover tonight. |

That was early on in the season, Rohmar wasn't very effective and Oklahoma's D was young. That same team has matured on defense and what is arguably the best defense in the Big 12. Reggie Smith is a shut down CB. Oklahoma's defense will be very good this year. Their offensive line is really good, they are averaging nearly 6 yds a carry netting 724 yds a game. Their passing attack has just been effective with Sam Bradford starting terrific for them. Almost 80% completion rate. I am not an Oklahoma fan, Nebraska fan actually and follow a lot of the Big 12. I like Oklahoma here at 23. GL to everyones bet

So, my last post refers to the 100+ comments, not the 5000+ views. 15 out of 100 is rather significant. And it's dmac, not tmac. From the looks of things, it's you who has the problem with numbers. You keep referring to everyone on Oklahoma as a die hard fan. My team is the crappy San Diego State Aztecs...get that thru your thick skull. I have NO LOVE FOR THE DAMN Sooners!
