Betonline.ag is down again. ..NO SURPRISE! Just got off tHe phone with cs. They are a solid 'D' sb, only have an 'A' rating because they [pay a poop ton of $$$ to Covers and SBR.] SBR has not been trustworthy for 3+ years, PERIOD. NEVER TRUST SBR... or 'official' ratings on sb's. They all ;ie tp get paid. |

WOW! My first attempt at posting this somehow didn't work, let me try again :) I am not re-writing everything but in shot, BO is incorrectly RE-GRADING tennis wagers in a way which defrauds bettors if the match ends in a player retirement. This is in regard to TOTALS (O/U). Please read the attached complaint (which I have officially submitted to SBR and am about to officially submit to Covers management). If you have been defrauded as I have been (me, on multiple occasions) then please submit a complaint to SBR AND Covers also. When it comes to ethics, legality, transparency, a $1 wager is no different than a $3,000 wager... PLEASE share and post a complaint no matter what amount of money you were robbed of. BetOnline.ag (BO) has "unofficially" changed their policy to void ALL wagers (in reference to tennis matches) where the match ends in a player retirement. They grade (correctly) Over/Under wagers where the wager plays the 'over' during/immediately after the match only to later that day or the next calendar day to re-grade such matches as 'CANCELLED'. However, it is the standard practice AND reality for physical Books AND virtual/online/internet Books to grade Over/Under wagers as a win or loss at the time of the player retirement. BO has not published or posted publicly that they have changed this policy and they are fraudulently re-grading wagers which are winners as 'Cancelled'. I do have photographic evidence on multiple accounts of their malfeasants on this issue , including an email from their own "customer support" team. REAL WORLD EXAMPLE: If you have a pre-match or live play of OVER 18.5 (or 21.5) games and the match ends in a REAL & SANCTIONED scoreline of 1-6, 6-2, 3-4... which results in an Over/Under score of 22 games, they are negating ALL results of the match. However, If you wagered at any point prior to the beginning of the match or during the match (Live Play) O/U 18.5 games (for example), once that number of games has been completed, that is the number which is counted for TOTAL wagers. This is standard industry wide for both online sportsbooks and in-person sportsbooks unless EXPLICITELY AND CLEARY STATED IN THIER RULES AND/OR TERMS OF AGREEMENT. As such, betonline.ag is clearly in violation of the standard rules & practices of the industry and inasmuch, are arbitrarily & fraudulently altering the grading of wagers without legal and ethical cause. This is a HIGHLY SERIOUS matter that needs to be addressed and investigated by an independent 'authority' outside of BO to ensure that bettors are not being defrauded (which we currently are). At the very least, BO needs to have their rating downgraded while under such investigation to protect bettors and the integrity of SBR, Covers, etc.

Again, without prior notice, BO is down again despite their top rating by multiple "independent" rating sites. BO deserves no better than a "C" rating, or a 6 out of 10 score. Some how they seem to be rated at no less than an A- or 9 out of 10 by "independent" rating sites. Don't believe the hype. They are mediocore at best but (in fact, do) pay for their "ratings". If it wasn't for the quick payouts & live wagering options, they would be a 2 out of 10 without a doubt. I have tried well over a dozen online sportsbooks and have been ACTIVE in the 'biz' for over ten years. I know what I am talking about. BO is bush league in terms of professionalism, timeliness, customer service, grading wagers, etc. Their payout system & live wagering (which is not the best) is the only reason to hold an account with them. |

I posted on another thread but essentially... thanks to all for the support, neither offense could get going tonight, scoring mostly came from turnovers and penalties. If either offense played it's game it would've covered but that's why it's hard to get to (21 wins). Thank you Covers for the prizes, beginning a new streak tomorrow and going for the monthly wins contest now.

Betonline.ag... the bad and ugly... and overrated, don't believe their rating!
in Gaming Industry - US Complaint (third in the last 10 days submitted to SBR regarding BO by myself): (hereafter betonline.ag will be referred to as BO throughout this forum)BO (Betonline.ag heareafter will be referred to as BO)... I just got off the phone with BO customer service (Deposit "department") and after more than 5 minutes on hold had my call answered by an agent name "KK" (I asked her 3 times how to spell her (name").My call was in related to a $100.00 deposit I made to my account via a VISA logo debit card. The processing amount they c\charge according to their site is 6.5%... or $6.50. The amount deducted from my account was $112.22. This happened another time in the last 10 days with the same sportsbook. When I called tonight (2:02am EST), the agent told me that they did not have a supervisor overnight and that I would have to call back tomorrow. After repeated inquiries, she continued to answer me with the same response. This is unacceptable... to repeatedly overcharge customers' accounts and by definition in the USA is fraud and gross negligence on the part of BO management. I see that at this time BO still holds an A to A+ rating on SBR. I have filed two complaints in the last 10 days myself with SBR in regard to BO and will continue to do so as they continue to provide inreputable/unethical/poor/arguably in a court of US law, illegal practices to it's customer base. This complaint as well as any future complaints I submit to SBR regarding BO or other sportsbook will also be submitted to a public site, not excluding a thread at Covers.com. |

in Gaming Industry - US I have had to contact Betonline.ag (hereafter betonline.ag will be referred to as BO throughout this forum) more than twenty times in 2017 (today's date is 11/21/2017 and yes, I have to call them back later today because they do not have a 'supervisor' on duty on the overnight shift' as told to me in the last 30 minutes by a deposit customer service agent named 'KK'). I will post any and all complaints I submit to sportsbookreview.com(hereafter sportsbookreview.com will be referred to as SBR throughout this forum) regarding BO here in this thread for public access. It is my opinion that BO's A to A+ rating by SBR is unwarranted either by a lack of BO's players submitting substantiated complaints to SBR or... who knows. SBR has the highest standards of ethical compliance and I do not question their integrity one bit. If you have a substantiated complaint regarding to any sportsbook please help the player community out by submitting such complaints and evidence to SBR. They are here to protect the industry. Thank you. |

Betonline.ag... the bad and ugly... and overrated, don't believe their rating!
in Gaming Industry - US
I am starting this thread to warn other players of the incompetence and sometimes unethical behavior of betonline.ag. Nothing I post here will be opinion; everything will factual. I do not have control over other forum members' posts and as such, I do not support or claim truth to anything posted to this thread that I myself have not posted personally.

Okay, so let me start... I have read (and been told) several various responses to the following questions: 1)What is the maximum wager/pay-out an individual can claim at a sportsbook without filling out an IRS form when claiming one's winnings. 2)Is this per cashed ticket, per day, etc? ...and is this amount aggregate for multiple sportsbooks owned by the same parent company?

Hey guys, how about we work on sharing information about known laws and policies for wagering on sports while in Nevada? Eventually we all make our first trip to the Mecca of sports bettors. So, what are the rules/laws for wagering... (okay this is where everyone posts their questions and the Las Vegas experienced provide answers.

BetOnline.ag's customer service is the worst I have EVER dealt with.
in Gaming Industry - Canada BetOnline offers good live lines as well as a plethora of futures and props wagers but their customer service is absolute garbage. I just had a Live Chat session with their 'CS Rep', "Milton" which 'he' closed while I was still asking questions. They clearly do not give a sh*t about their clients unlike many of the other Books I use. I also had to contact Covers and SBR a few weeks ago about their sh*tty phone cs. Buyer beware (yes, I have had a BO acct for several years and have even referred two others who opened accts with them because of me. No Mas, no mas. Their interface is great but that is where it ends. If customer service matters to you, go somewhere else. If it doesn't then go ahead. (I have 8 SB accts and BO is the worst in terms of cs but 2nd in terms of interface.) |

Issue resolved as of tonight. CS said that they were having a problem with their system and it wouldn't accept the correction. It's fixed now... they should do better at communicating when a problem arises but it get fixed 2 days later. All is well. |

That's favorite sportsbook on profiles, not the only (online) sportsbook in the world that you use. Perhaps you could write posts that have some significance.

Okay, I'll try to keep it short. They graded a play from yesterday as a loss when it is actually a winner. Tonight, they graded a play a winner that was really a loss. I opened a ticket Saturday about the mis-graded play and didn't hear anything from them about it so I got on live chat @4 hours ago. The CSR stated that the issue would be resolved shortly... My account still hasn't been credited for the winning wager so I just got online with SI live chat again (I actually just finished with them @5mins ago). I nformes that CSR about my first ticket and reported the 2nd wager (this was the one that they gave me a win but it was really a loss.)... no problems, right? Well, less than 5 minutes after me reporting the 2nd mistake, they had removed the funds from my account but are still trying to figure out whatever, whatever for the first wager. It's not rocket science, check the ticket and the result... simple enough. I have never experienced anything like this anywhere else although $hit does happen but it has been over 24 hours and my account still has not been credited. If it is still not fixed after 48 hours I will definitely be in contact with you, Lou (yes, I do have all of the documentation and such), and if need be, SBR. Just giving a heads up to any others out ther who use SI... they are obviously having problems with their computers, interface, something. |

So if you don't meet the $20 deposit requirement you win a Covers Hoodie. (I want to win a hoodie... seem to come up short time and time again, lol. Hopefully I will get one soon!) FYI: The BetED part of the weekly prize is what they offer anyway on deposit bonuses (if you don't meet the $20 requirement). |

Trooter, ignore tha jack-wagons. They're too busy flaming people on the forums instead of researching their picks. Misery loves company, right? You know how it is... Congrats on your all-or-nothing! If you want to know why Trotter's threads get so many hits it's because of R-E-P-U-T-A-T-I-O-N... and R-E-S-P-E-C-T. |

For recreational wagers I'll bet on just about anything (like Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest every July 4th) but I make more $$ on every other football league than I do the NFL. I'm terrible at NFL sides but do well at the O/Us. This season has been brutal. I'm with you on being done with the NFL (mostly) for this season but it doesn't really matter much with @2 mths of NCAAF and also with NCAAB and NBA starting up (9-2 on NBA preseason plays so far). LOVE basketball... this is the beginning of money season for me. GL to everyone else but yeah, (IMO), the NFL season has been horrible.

Wow, take a grammar class and learn how to spell. Maybe then people will take you seriously (if this applies to you)... ync,,, thanks for youe contribution... it's something to think about. Then again, I don't bet systems. Research and intuition direct my picks but anything that can lead to an advantage (no matter how slight it may be) is beneficial. Never bet blindly, by others' picks, or by a system alone and you will increase your chances for success. I bet halves but pick my spots like with any other wager... this is the advice I would suggest anyone who thinks that they will profit from merely following a "system". |
