I’ve been trying this the last few weeks. It seems like low-risk way to gamble/watch games. It limits your upside a little but still has some: 

Basically you play for a 7-10 point middle. 

Example:

Bet 1 (+114)

UCONN ML, FLORIDA ML, ARIZONA ML, HOUSTON ML

Bet 2 (+101)

UCONN ML, FLORIDA ML, ARIZONA ML, BAYLOR+7.5

UCONN, Florida, Arizona all huge ML favs at home to bring the juice down. All have 90% win probabilities. 

if Houston wins between 1-7, you hit both… if not you at least break even or squeak out small profit with both sides at plus money. 

anyone else do this?

I am in 8 pools between 30-80 people in each. What do we think the best strategy is??

Duke or No Duke?

I’m leaning Duke in all and vary up the Elite 8 combinations??

because if you go no Duke and mix up Zaga, UNC, Kentucky for example, odds are others also pick them and then you have to beat them out in other round plays.

Whereas if you go Duke in all and vary up the 8 brackets with other combos.. you probably win a pool if Duke wins it.

Love some feedback on what some of you do.

Exactly. So if a team fouls 11 times in the new format.. it's possible that only results in 2 free throws. Whereas in the old format that could be 8-10 free throws 

Actually disagree here. The rule change doesn't benefit the offense. I remember watching this last year and in the original format.. once a team gets to 7 fouls say at the 8-10 minute mark.. you have free throws the rest of the way... the resetting of the fouls actually causes less free throws
