You know, the Vikings are a "the whole is greater than the sum of the parts kind of team." They have something going for them, right now, that is hard to articulate. I don't know that I would bet "on" them but I am definitely not betting "against" them. I am looking forward to the game but picking winner is a coin flip (at least that's how I see it). If I were forced to pick a winner I would pick the Vikings. They are still fresh from playing competitively while the Colts have rested a lot and I am just not sure all of that rest is good. There really can be "too much of a good thing."

I prefer one bet a night. Last night I did very well with UCONN.

Tonight I think that NC will win easily though I any time can find in them the ability to do better than usual. So, I am going to hedge a bit and buy down to -6.5. However, that is only because I am very, very conservative. I think you are okay at -8.5 as NC will likely win by 10 or more. So, one decent-sized bet, you make some money, you move on.

My initial $50 is now at $157 and I am hoping to be at $265 later on tonight.

My goal is $500 at which point I will cash out and wait for baseball.

Honest-to-God, why do you do this? Do you actually spend real money on your picks or this all kind of a running joke? I don't get it. It's surreal to me. You seem to lose more often than seems possible. And, everyday you say "HUGE card." It's not huge if it's always the same. It's just your normal day of pretty much betting every game and somehow not even winning 1/2 of them. I am not being a hater. I am sure you are a hell of a nice guy. But you've got my curiosity going, I guess. Oh, and I am certainly not asking or telling you to stop. I am just very, very curious.

Could have easily been a lot better and just easily a lot worse. So, I am okay with the split. The 1/2 unit loss is due to paying mostly favorites so the bets were a bit "juicy."

I am not entirely sure why I left them out other than I am still working on the stat system and I wasn't confident enough to make it a public pick.
