Dak should have kneeled down 3-5 yds b4 and not try to dive.  Put ball on ground and wait for everyone to get back then spike it.  That extra 3-5 yds is insignificant compare to saving 3-5 secs at that point.

If u were going to call that play, should have good plan on how to execute it!

Question for those who have actually file taxes on sports betting...

You sign up for 2 sports books accounts, A and B.  At end of year, total losses for A is $1000, while B wins $2000 or total winnings of $1000 for the year.

B sends income tax statement to IRS that you won or has income of $2000.  As far as I know,  A does not send anything to IRS as you didn't have any income from them.  Come tax time, you'll have to pay taxes on income of $2000 as IRS will just see the tax statement from B, though you really only has income of $1000.

I understand that one can itemize that you loss $1000 but with the recent tax code changes, the standard deduction is so much higher now so one just take that, you can't then itemize that $1000 loss.

Am I correct that you'll be paying more taxes in this scenario than if you had won $500 from each sports books?

I don't like temperamental players but have to side with A Rod here.  Yes he can be a jerk off the field but his skills on the field more than make up for it. 

The GM F-ed up.  Not only he did not inform A-Rod ahead of time that he was thinking of drafting QB, he didn't tell Matt LaFleur either!!!  It wasn't like Love fell into their lap when teams unexpectedly passed on him and he doesn't have time to let A Rod knows, this was premeditated move going into the draft.  You're not asking for his permission to draft Love, just giving him heads up.  He might still mad but now it's on him as to why.

When you have a player with that skill level and you know is sensitive, it's not end of the world to just stoked his ego.  There's always been special treatment for the stars of the team.

Even if Atl is shopping Julio, they can find WR later on in draft.  There's no TE anywhere near Pitts.

SF is drafting QB, Shanny just put down Jimmy when asked if he'll still be around after draft.  If he's head faking about not drafting QB, he would not dissed his own starting QB like that.

Don't see how Chase goes ahead of him as similar build and he's WR.  Sewell/Slater is close 1/2 OL and draft is OL-deep this year so not jumping him either.

Bet MGM app has Trevor/Wilson/Fields as 1/2/3 for +850 if think SF pick Fields.  Trevor/Wilson is guaranteed 1/2.

Won't be Lance at 3 as GM Lynch has publicly said Shanny will decide which QB to draft and Shanny has said he's looking for starting QB now. No way Shanny will have Lance run the team this year, SF is in win-now mode.

Gonzaga was "gifted" the weakest bracket cause that's what the best team get rewarded for.  UM had toughest going in cause they were the worst #1 seed this year.  Make no sense if UM was "gifted" with weaker bracket than Gonzaga.

Bears' Montgomery is on a tear last 4 games since Trubinsky came back (71/ 434/ 5 TD, 6.1AVG) so hopefully Gase be smart and minimize Trubinsky passing.  Jags allow 3rd most rushing YPG.

Jags' best offensive weapon, Robinson, is out.  Their next 2 RB career stats, 24/ 68/ 2 TD.

Bears have all motivation after Card's loss today and Jags should have none, tanking for Trevor.
